"The Seatown team did a great job. I got quotes from 3 different recommended plumbing services, but the Seatown guys were the only ones who recognized we would need to upgrade our gas meter. They did a great job explaining how to get this scheduled with PSE. The estimate Seatown gave was on par with some of the other plumbers, so we went with them. They sent 2 service people to come and install the tankless and the guys were just excellent. I expressed concern about mounting the water heater on the beams in our basement because Our house is so old, so they came up with a better solution. They built a small wall frame to mount the water heater. No extra cost. When they found there was no outlet wired near the heater they were able to get an electrician from Seatown to come out and wire one up while they worked on the water heater install. Seatown aldo had a good scheduling method, sent text reminders the day they were coming to do the work with a photo of the person who was coming and a short set of info about the person. It was a nice touch, and a thoughtful safety measure. They did a great job with the install which took several hours. I’d definitely hire them again."

"I purchased a new Navien NPE-240A2 Tankless Water Heater and had it installed. I'm loving the new water heater. It replaces an old Noritz tankless that died just before this installation. The on-site estimate was what sold me. Ken went through all the details and answered a lot of questions from me. Zachary came out with Austin and performed the installation just like I discussed with Ken. Zachary kept me in the loop throughout the installation to ensure I was in agreement with how it was going. Zachary always had my interest at heart and ensured no corners were cut. The installation is much cleaner, and more correct than the previous tankless company did. Zachary even listened to my concern about the astectics of the exterior exhaust and quickly found an easier and cleaner looking way to address my concern. He also removed an old recirculation pump and replaced a new main house shutoff valve. The entire area was treated respectfully and left cleaner than they found it."

I was orginally going to do a partial water line replacement since several contractors were unable/unwilling to do the more risky full line replacement, but Appollo Plumbing found an ingenious (and less risky) way to replace the entire line. "We hired Trident plumbing to install a Flo Water Leak Detection device. We had a hard time finding a plumber who is familiar with the device. Also, many of the plumbers who came out were reluctant to do the work because the area where the main shut off valve is located, is very tight to reroute the pipe and install the Flo device. We received quotes ranging from $500 -$3500 and work statement which involved removing water heater or tearing out a wall from the closet to get to the main shut off valve. Luckily, Davon from Trident Plumbing was familiar and knowledgable with Flo. He was very creative in coming up with a configuration where the main shut off valve, PRV and Flo device can be easily accessible without removing water heater or tearing out a wall. Also, we really appreciated his suggestion to replace the 25 year old PRV and the main shut off valve with a ball valve which is much easier to turn off and on in case of emergency. After Davon completed the work, he performed a thorough check to ensure everything worked properly. He even checked the water heater for us. We will definitely hire Trident Plumbing, Davon, again for any future plumbing work. Thank you, Davon!"

"I was referred to Apollo Plumbing by G&S Heating, Cooling and Electric when my 75 Gallon Hot Water Heater Failed. G&S originally installed the water heater when they installed my Geo-Thermal Heating system and I’ve always had nothing but praise for G&S. They are honest, ethical and fair in all their business dealings and the quality of the work has been impeccable. Due to some regulatory changes, G&S could not replace my 75 Gallon Water Heater, but instead referred me to Apollo. I called and was helped by Samara, who was extremely helpful in fitting me into the schedule. Zac the installer showed up to my home, a bit late, but I was happy that he had arrived and work could commence. Zac presented me with the estimate for the service and that’s where things took a turn for the worse. I had done some research on the pricing I should expect my new hot water heater to cost. The one that had failed was 12 years old and I could have had the same exact model delivered to my home for $1,100 dollars. Home Depot and Lowes stocked a similar model and would have delivered them to my home for about the same price. Zak delivered an estimate to me that totaled over $4,800.00, of which, $2,300 was for the water heater, about $1,200.00 more than I could have obtained a replacement. When I protested, I got an explanation that it was a specialty item, the only type of water heater Apollo will install and warrantee, and several other meaningless points in trying to justify the cost. Zac did apply a “coupon” reduction of $292.00, however, it didn’t make me feel any better about the situation. I was up against a time constraint of an overseas business trip and didn’t have the luxury of backing out of the appointment, so I reluctantly accepted the estimate. Zac did a good job of installing the new heater. I’m a small business owner and have been in business for 40 years. In that period, I have never had a customer complain about or question the price of any invoice I’ve submitted to them. I was clearly overcharged for the hot water heater. As such, I would recommend others getting competing estimates after they receive one from Apollo to make sure they are not being overcharged. I won’t use them again."
