"They arrived on time. Responded with 3 personnel. They removed the old freon immediately and removed the outside and inside unit. It was hot and humid, but they did not complain. The attic is no place for a human in this heat. They prepared the site for the new air handler, installed it quickly and had the system up and cooling in no time.
A slight problem arose after they left at 6 PM in the evening, and they sent a very gracious and professional technician and in fact the installation supervisor responded, after hours!
They had the system running again, and found a faulty part was the problem, not their fault.
The next day they came back to see if the system was working correctly and even cleaned the area of the install more and they did not have to, they gave 110%.
I use and would use UGI for all my heating, cooling needs, they are excellent.

"We had many issues with our computer - primarily with the CD/DVD drive and iTunes. Jim eliminated over 700 viruses from our computer, which was just the beginning. There continued to be problems within the systems of the computer. Luckily Jim charges by the job and not by the hour because he worked a LONG time to make it all work.  He kept in touch with me and addressed each issue as it arose until the job was done.  He was professional and courteous and hung in there until I was satisfied he had addressed everything. "The team effort was amazing to watch.  Along with the owner, the guys (Anthony and Joey) were impressive with their knowlege as well as answering my questions.  They were eager to answer and still kept busy with their tasks.  It has been a long time since I witnessed employees who not only cared, but worked extremely well together.  Newtown heating and A/C has a lot to be proud to perform in such a professional envoronment.  They are super.

Parts were made on site or in their nearby shop to custom fit the heat exchanger to my current duct work.  I am very happy with the state-of-the-art equipment installed.  I feel very comfortable with my new system and highly recommed contacting them.

The system has been working perfectly.  On 2/10/2014 I called about a message code and service was prompt.  The problem was with my internet service unable to download some new software as a result of the power outages from the recent snow/ice storm.

I am very interested in some additional work for a battery backup for my sump pump.  I am requesting additional information about a full home generator.

Also, they cleaned up after the installation and removed all of the old equipment.

"This is a touchy question. Once the technician talked to Choice Home Warranty "it was" going well for replacement of washer,but, when they offered $178.00 I was totally floored. Where am I going to find a Kenmore of equal quality for that price? So, as of today we have a non working washer. But, with confidence in Choice am sure it will end with a good relationship. If not we have another avenue at hand. I must say that when I lived in California I had the same coverage, had the entire heating & a/c system replaced for the price of a service call $70.00. No question it was amazing to have THAT coverage then."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
