"This is a difficult one to write because, in the end, I think the actual work done was completed very well and professionally. We had a tankless water heater installed to replace our aging tank. The problem i have is with their business practices and lack of effective/accurate communication. A two-day job stretched to a week+ due to workers leaving early every day for one reason or another. Admittedly, one of the days was understandable due to a family emergency and I absolutely cannot begrudge somebody leaving early to attend to their child. That’s just being a good dad. The job completed on a Friday and I was repeatedly assured that an county inspector & Pure Plumbing employee would be arrive early Tuesday (Monday was Memorial Day) to close the job. Nobody ever showed up and I was told nothing. I came to learn that Pure Plumbing plays some shady games when it comes to permitting a project. They (illegally) do the work without pulling permits. Then, after it is done, they submit drawings of the completed work to get an after-the-fact permit pulled. It’s only then that they request an inspection which happens a couple weeks after the fact. They also expect full payment before the work passes inspection. I tried to contact the owner of the company (Andrew Aranda) via phone and the email his office supplied in order to discuss/resolve the issue, but never heard a reply. Unpermitted work exposes the company and the homeowner to potential fines and long delays in completion. Even though I love the work they did and would love to use them again, I would hesitate because of legally questionable methods that cast a shady layer over the operation. Are there other hidden corners being cut? Their talented roster of tradesmen/women isn’t worth doing business with because legal games are being played with the county. I plan on contacting a Clark County agent to discuss this job and warn them of potential future dishonesty."

"Plumber was fine but prices were outrageous. $50 to replace a supplied flap? $150 to replace a $50 cartridge? $100 to put in a shower head? Update: The bill was $285 and they have agreed to give me back $172. I am very satisfied with that result."

"Charles came out about 1.5 hours after being called on a Sunday. He was very professional and did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing our non-working a/c system. I never felt pressured to purchase anything that was not required. He was professional and personable and offered us tips to save money in the future. I felt he was very honest with us and when he left the a/c was working as good as new. My only complaint concerns pricing. Each customer can decide for themselves if their prices are acceptable. Specifics are...the capacitor was replaced at a cost of $214 including installation which took 15 minutes. The amazon price for the part was about $20. Two fuses were replaced at a cost of $184 and took 5 minutes to install. I am sure the amazon price was much less. 1 lb of r22 freon was added in 10 minutes at a cost of $100. The coils were hose cleaned without additional charges. Another capacitor was checked and found to be within specs and there was no charge. My total bill was $498. Charles was here about 1 hour. I thought it was high but the work definately needed to be done and they were prompt so we authorized it and paid when the work was done. Again, I feel they were honest and none of the charges were a surprise because I was told the cost before work was completed. I would use this honest, prompt, and competent contractor again. I am sure less honest repair people would have suggested work that would have cost more than I paid to have the job done right and only fix the things that really needed fixing. Our experience with JOHNNYS was GREAT! As a lifelong comparison shopper JOHNNYS was my first call, followed by many other quotes for Trane AC systems and the manufacturer that is generally rated #2 in the market. JOHNNYS was the best deal and the had the best representative/agent (James) that visited my home. Hector (the lead technologist) and his install team did a great job! They were -- on time, quick, always followed COVID protocol and left the work site supper clean. Replacing a split AC system is not a trivial task. For a process that is large/complex/physically demanding Hector and his team, just got started and ground through the process like professionals (that they are). I was particularly impressed by the check list or run-down Hector did at the end each day with his team. I felt extremely comfortable and confident with both James and Hector through the entire process. One added note: “Johnny On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating” answered the phone on the second ring every time… cannot say that about every company I got quotes from here in Las Vegas."

They came out on Memorial Day and worked from 7am til 6pm tirelessly to get it all dug and fixed in one day. Herculean effort! They dug 45 feet in length. They are so passionate about what they do and so compassionate too! They did an excellent and thorough job explaining and advising every step of the way. They are the nicest people with very fair and competitive prices and superior quality customer service. Their professionalism and attention to detail and follow through did not go unnoticed.
