"The original water valves were not the correct type of valves for the location and the handles that are used to open and close the valves rusted and broke off. The pit is about two feet deep with the pipes and valves at the bottom. Because of the hgh water level at this location the valves are often submerged in water. I had tried to use several local plumbers. Some would look at the job and never call back. Others would not even look. I decided to try Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and much to my surprise they came quickly, on time, looked at the problem, gave a quote on the spot, ordered the parts, and the job was finished in less than a week. It involved some removal of sod from my lawn. They did the work and replaced the sod and all is well. I struggled with this problem for over a year before trying them. I would not hesitate to use them again. In fact, I am using them to convert my existing hot water system to a tankless hybrid system. I will post a review for that job when it is complete.
