"Can't say enough good things about our experience with AAA-1 Masonry & Tuckpointing. We had two holding walls with brick that was deteriorating. They power washed to identify which bricks needed to be removed and swapped out those bricks with new ones. In addition they replaced the capstones on the two walls with larger capstones to provide the walls more protection from the elements. Everything was sealed and completed flawlessly. The crew was experienced and professional. Since the work was done this summer, our walls don't even get wet from rain! We are so grateful for the expert repair but also the guidance that replacing the capstones would provide more of a long term solution. Highly recommend these guys for your masonry needs."

"I am glad they alerted me to needing an new cap and replace a storm collar. They also resurfaced chase pan. $485.00 seemed a bit excessive to just spray paint on chase pan without even scrapping rust off. They did not even scrap rust ring on chimney pipe or spray paint with high temp rust-o-leum. The stainless steel cap was listed at $464.71 and discounted to $395 for Angie's List member. Subsequent Angie list deals show replacement cap from Jimmy Chiminy at $249.00 before Angie discount to $129.00 Our chimney cap was installed crooked until my wife requested that it be straightened. Very overpriced. ...and, yes, I scrapped the rust ring on the pipe and spray painted the pipe with high temp rust-o-leum myself!"

"I've used Fortune Restoration in the past when I managed condominium buildings. After seeing the cedar siding work they did on a friend's house I decided to call Tom Fortune for my own residence. Tom took the time to listen and called his lead carpenter to discuss the various siding and trim options. He was able to write the estimate on the spot. They started quickly and there were no delays once they began. Their crews were communicative and professional. Tom also stopped by regularly to inspect the workmanship and make sure I was satisfied. Fortune removed the existing metal siding on the house, replaced the soffit and fascia with PVC which was quite labor intensive, sided the gable ends and small front dormer with cedar, stained the new cedar, and painted all the new trim and exterior windows. They left the area in very good condition. I'm very pleased with their responsiveness and quality of the work and recommend them without reservation."

"Outstanding experience with CAS Construction! Carlos and his crew did an awesome job renovating the back entrance of my home! Rotted brick pillar at head of the back entrance stairs was removed and a new perfect brick pillar was built and installed. They repaired all the imperfections in the surrounding concrete, sanded, power washed, and carefully applied the paint finish. The tuckpointing, caulking perimeter of the entire house, and the similar work in the other areas that needed repair and improvement, all done with minimal mess and no stress! From start to finish, Carlos was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. As was Iris, owner, CAS Construction. She was always available to provide answers promptly when I had additional questions. "I just hired Edmar to replace a glass block window in our brick house with a more modern double hung window, and they did a great job! I've also hired them in the past to rebuild our parapet and replace other old windows and the work is always great. They're easy to coordinate schedules with and the quality of work is top notch. I'll definitely be hiring them again for any future masonry projects."

"I needed a new roof, and I called them first because they were at the top of the list. At first, I thought it just needed repair, so when I called them they said they didn't repair what they didn't install. Okay. When I talked to other companies, I realized I needed a complete tear off, so I called them back and got an estimate. When I compared them to the other roofers, their prices were in line but their contract really bothered me. They devoted about 1/2 of a page to tell me what they would do in summary form but proceeded to use about 2 - 3 pages of CYA which made me feel they were really trying to protect themselves as opposed to providing me with a good roof. This REALLY put me off because I have never chased the lowest cost. Also, they called me periodically to see if I still wanted the work done."

"Very professional and courteous, would highly recommend for any brickwork you need done. My brick came out perfect I replaced a door with a window and needed to complete the rest of the bricks under the new window. It turned out really nice afterwards it looks like the bricks were always there with the rest of the old existing brick."
