We used all Top of the line Gould Equipment. I probably should call Doug to replace it again because breakdowns with the water system can leave you stranded."

"It went very well. They did a good job. The cost was over $400. I don't know whether or not that's too high or not. I seldom have plumbers in so I can't say the cost was high, although I was surprised it was $400, but that could be the going rate. He seemed very agreeable and very happy. I needed something and he was happy to get it. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in that regard. As for the quality of their service, so far so good. Everything went okay. It stopped leaking."

"We initially called Davis and Davis when our A/C started blowing hot air. They came out three separate times, charged us money for repairs that didn't work, then decided we needed a full replacement for $4,500. We called Buric for a second opinion. Tom arrived on time, took 20 minutes to (correctly) find the problem, told us we didn't need a replacement, and repaired it for just over $400. It works great to this day. "Sila was great about scheduling repair visit same day. Repairman showed up early (good), diagnosed problem before he even got to the unit (bad capacitor, buzzing), had part onboard truck, and then fixed it in less than 20 minutes, total visit. Charged me $439. Cost was $149 for diagnostic/visit + $290 for replacing the part. Repair was so quick that it was less labor than would have been required for a more common diagnostic. Since doing research after the visit, I'm of the opinion that the cost was excessive -- perhaps twice what it should have been. Service was good, but I would think twice before using Sila again, say, to replace this 17 yo system down the road."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive.
