"I would like to preface my statement by saying this company was recommended to me by my family member who has used this company regularly and has not yet had their AC unit replaced - their unit is 21 years old. I was having problems with my upstairs AC unit not cooling properly and called out to American Family for the first time with a service call thinking that the unit may only need repair (maybe needing freon or a leak as the blower motor seemed to still be working, just no cool air). It turned out to be the compressor. I elected not to replace the units compressor due to the age of the unit itself. The company rep suggested that we also replace the heating unit upstairs due to its age and noting the complications we were having at the end of the winter season (he did check it as well). He stated it would be cheaper to do both than one at a time, but also stated it was completely my choice. Knowing about this company from other relatives they do try to repair and/or resolve your HVAC issues first. However, my AC was beyond a reasonable repair. I asked for a bid without the heating unit and with the AC and heating. The quotes were individually fair and I elected to do the later (with heat and AC). They scheduled immediately with owner Tim. They were able to install the next day, but I elected 2 days later. I only paid for the service call at this point and they accepted my coupon. The service guys arrived timely. It was an extremely hot day (roughly 99 degrees), but the workers stayed all day installing both units until everything was satisfactory. They were pleasant and explained everything in detail. They cleaned up after themselves, taking the old units. There was very little residual left behind and considering they worked so long and it was so hot they were respectful and completed the job as stated. A part was missing during install, but it was immediately resolved as it was brought by someone else from the company, in turn, leaving them to continue working rather than leaving and coming back. I was very pleased overall and will use them again."

"I have used Home Comfort on prior occasions to service my old furnace - they had replaced the capacitors and the main blower fan but on the most recent issue, the secondary fan went out. Rather than have it repaired (and seeing the number of repairs increasing each year), I decided it was time to replace the old furnace with a new one. I got a quote from Home Comfort for a new American Standard Gas Furnace with a 95% efficiency - it was scheduled for a Saturday. The serviceman was at my house at the time scheduled and had the entire work completed in about 4-5 hours. He was helped whenever necessary by an additional helper. They took the old furnace out and disposed of it and got rid of the packing material that the new furnace came with. It has been about 2 weeks now since the furnace was replaced and I have had no issues with the new furnace at all - it was done right the first time around. I would have no hesitation recommending this company for repairs and installation of HVAC systems."

"Cody showed up on time. Very polite young technician Appears to know his job well. He examined the indoor part of the system. Verified what initially indicated to his office that Freon is needed. He indicated that vents need to be cleaned before sealant and Freon can be added. Cost was as follows: $96 diagnostics + $203 for 1.5 pound Freon & labor + $60 another 30 minutes labor + $187 sealant (cost $27 on Amazon) = $545. System is working well. This cost is significantly higher than last service provider."

After the cleaning the area was policed and everything was back in order. TDH did an amazing job installing a new AC, and Furnace in my home. I want to say right away that I am a very picky customer. I know what I want. I told TDH and several other companies exactly what I wanted for my home. I contacted and met with 12 different companies at my home and told each of them what I wanted. I did not tell them that I am experienced with HVAC and that I take care of HVAC maintenance for commercial buildings daily.  I let them believe I was Joe Homeowner who knew nothing about how AC really works. I witnessed a variety of sales pitches and more than 1 company tried to inflate the price or sell me something I did not need.  In the end it was TDH Mechanical that got my business.  Tim, the owner of the company came out and gave me a fair estimate for the project. He contacted me quickly for quote, arrived on time and did not try to upsell anything I did not need. We worked out a time to start the work and his installers arrived on time and did a fantastic job installing my new equipment.  Ed and another gentleman did everything they should do while installing my equipment. They arrived on time, verified my order, answered all my questions, installed the HVAC and cleaned up the work area when they were finished. Everything went smooth and the price was more than fair. I will recommend TDH Mechanical to anyone looking for HVAC services.

"Chris was very profesional, punctual and kind when he repaired my dryer, he even had the part right in his truck. I also asked him to fix my dishwasher, so he came back with a new part he ordered. After an hour and a half Chris realized he wasn't going to be able to fix it properly and suggested to buy a new one instead, gave me tips about brands to look for and stores where delivery and installation are free. "Everything was great except they broke the exterior dryer vent cover. They said they would return and replace it. They never did. It never should have happened in the first place. A true professional would have removed the cover when cleaning to eliminate the possibility of damage."
