Office made it clear that the upfront charge was $85 for the visit and the technician would provide an estimate of the work if any and the $85 would count against the work. Technician arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He quickly identified that the 240V => 24V transformer was the root cause for the loud humming noise, and recommended replacing it. He gave an estimate of $468 for the work. I showed him that the transformer itself was less than $50, and I could not understand the estimate. He showed the company estimate on his iPad. I declined the recommended service. I got the work done for a little more than half the estimate from Milltown from another service provider. I would suggest that Milltown revisit their estimation software. I have rated as "Fair" only because the technician was very professional."
