"The technician Daniel K provided me with options to solve a problem with a toilet that would not flush properly due to an object stuck in the pipe. When he was unable to remove the obstruction by snaking the drain, he explained the reasons why, and we went to plan B. Daniel was able to identify the need to replace the toilet, returned to the shop to get the new parts, and came back to the building within an hour. The toilet was installed quickly and he hauled the old toilet out for disposal. The service call was scheduled on a Saturday afternoon and the work was performed on a SUNDAY-- Daniel contacted me ahead of the 12pm-4pm service window and arrived early. Other plumbing companies who listed weekend hours were unresponsive and did not take the time to return my voicemails-- even during the following week. Glad I found Petri. Great service and great work."

"The plumber, Bill was prompt and professional. He was available to do all of the work on the same day as the walk through and estimate. A written estimate was prepared within fifteen minutes of the preliminary inspection. The repairs and replacements took almost all day but it was because it was three different projects throughout the house and he had to get parts. Bill explained exactly what needed to be done for each fixture/ pipe and any options available. The final price was slightly higher than the estimate only because of an unforeseen issue with the fixture manufacturer and it was explained as soon as the problem became apparent to the plumber. "I was very impressed with the service I received. When scheduling the appointment everyone I dealt with was responsive and polite. I had called because our A/C wasn't working and they were able to schedule a technician to come service the unit the next day. The technician (Devin) was very nice and he explained the work he was doing. I had not had the A/C unit serviced for a while (shame on me) so there were several problems. "EXCELLENT AND HONEST. ASAP Solutions (New York City, Upper East Side) is great. The manager, Udi, is very responsive. Diagnosed two problems via phone and photo -- a leaking Kohler shower lever and a faulty water cutoff valve for a toilet. He sent a plumber, Tony, who not only fixed everything quickly, but was honest in telling me what I didn't need. He also showed me a part for the toilet that needed replacing and indicated that it's a quick and simple job -- whereas a previous plumbing company had tried to replace the entire toilet for roughly 4x what Tony quoted me. It's nice to find an honest, reasonable, and responsive plumbing company. I intend to use ASAP and Udi and Tony again and would absolutely recommend them to friends and neighbors. UPDATE: For the second time in a week, ASAP Solutions delivered perfectly. I needed a small piece of followup work from a few days ago. ASAP showed up right on time and fixed two small problems. One had to do with a valve that ASAP previously adjusted, rather than replaced, trying to save me money (after asking my permission for the first attempted fix). Two days later it was clear the the part had to be replaced. Even though I had approved the first repair, ASAP discounted the replacement on the second day. I would have understood if they didn't offer a discount, but they're really that honest and ethical. Second, the plumber, Tony, offered me advice on a minor thing that I could safely adjust myself, rather than calling him back in. He and his boss, Udi, are absolutely great. I'm pushing for my co-op board to switch away from the large plumbing company the building has used to ASAP, and recommending them to my neighbors and friends. They're excellent and I strongly recommend them for every kind of job."

"I spoke with Manny, who was extremely courteous and upfront about everything. He offered to come out free of charge to take a look at the faucet, even in the middle of today's snowstorm. I ended up cancelling, because my usual plumber who my landlord uses was able to come. But I will be sure to call Franco Belli again, simply because of the professionalism with which Manny handled the call. He was very understanding when I cancelled. It's quite amazing how companies can bungle even the most simple of customer interactions, and no matter how proficient they are in their actual services, you don't want to deal with them because of their poor customer service.
