"We've used Atlantic Heating & AC for many years and wouldn't consider any other company. Atlantic is extremely responsive, priced reasonably, and they always do a great job. We've never once had to call them back to resolve any issues associated with their work, and they've done a lot of work over for us over the last 9 years. Recently, our water heater died very suddenly; I came home from my office and water was leaking out of the water heater onto the basement floor. Within minutes, their service manager was guiding me over the phone regarding which valves to turn off etc. and he had me take a few pics to send to him. The very next day, a serviceman was at our house installing a brand new, much better water heater than the house had come with, and we haven't had an issue yet, and this was several months ago. "I typically get several estimates before any major expense. I do this to gather information as well as compare price and the people behind the websites. Two other companies were recommended to me by friends. Accurate was my third estimate. My previous furnace was installed by Accurate and serviced by Accurate so I was going to check with them before buying a new furnace. Accurate even showed up first thing one winter morning when the furnace didn't turn on. 



Each estimate said something a little different about which furnace to buy and how it should be installed. Derek from Accurate showed up on time and appeared to know the product and the installation requirements - including the expectations of the local building inspector. The building inspector has to approve the installation when it is finished. I honestly don't know if I chose the right furnace by purchasing a TRANE. I didn't want the most expensive model and I wasn't pressured to buy it. I did buy the pricey air  filter since a family member has allergies. 



The installation process went very smoothly. The man who spent all day doing the installation was low-key, friendly, and appeared to be doing a careful job. E.g., he didn't talk on his cell or blare a radio. Accurate arranged for the plumber to do the gas line hook up and the electrician to connect the new furnace and install a CO2 alarm. The plumber returned at a later date to show the finished job to the building inspector.



 It took a lot of time to learn about the new high efficiency furnaces, talk to friends about how they managed home heating issues, and then meet with contractors. Since it's such an expensive and long-term purchase, it's a tough decision. I decided to stay with Accurate based on past experience and I think it was the right call.

"The plumber surmised that the clog was at the T junction with the vertical pipe in the wall and was unsuccessful at getting his snake to go downward after entering from the bottom of the trap. He failed also with an air hose. As he left, he offered to replace the T junction with a Y junction for $285. I subsequently called out another Angie's List plumber, so attacked the problem successfully by removing the trap and snaking downward about 15 ft to the clog. He replace the trap with one that is removal, allowing a snake easier access. This cost $300. I'm still unsure whether replacing the T junction with a Y junction would have solved the problem."

"I had not previously dealt with All Phases Mechanical we were in the dregs of a awful heat wave when the AC went down..miserable. I had spent much money with The company that I used for 20 years they told me they would not be out for 4 days on a Saturday & because it was a Saturday would charge me a $500 premium or I could with until the middle of the following week. At 9:00 AM the same day I called Carl at All Phases Mechanical he sharpened his pencil gave me an estimate ,, sourced my replacement condenser... his very qualified experienced lead man Henry was exceptionally polite and knowledgeable. My AC system was up and running the same day by 4:00 PM Exceptional response and installatio . All Phases is my new company I highly recommend them"
