"While looking for a plumber to inspect and replace a leaking water heater, I found Rapid Repairs.  I called the number, and was directed to send a text message if I needed a emergent response.  After only a few minutes, I got a response in a text message addressing my issue.  They were professional and answered my questions as best he could without being at my house.  I even got estimates based on my answers.  The only reason I did not utilize their service was that I needed hot water immediately, and they were already on multiple service calls, meaning the earliest they could come out would be Monday.  
I would definitely use them in the future, I was very happy with the response and appreciated that he was polite and understood that I couldn't wait for them to become available.

"Finding a reliable and honest plumber is a hard thing to find. I asked friends/family and nobody knew anyone i could call. Luckily i remembered seeing a Angieslist commercial on TV and decided to give it a try and i am so glad i did. After searching around i found Jimmy of Clearway Plumbing, What a great company! They showed up fast exacly when he told me he would and even though i was told by a friend of mine who is handy around the house that i would have to replace my toilet and it couldn't be repaired Jimmy at Clearway assured me that it could be fixed, would cost significantly less to repair and that replacing it would be a waste of money and that if i made the repairs the toilet would work like brand new. Since i saw other reviews saying how great and honest Jimmy is i decide to take his advice and i am so glad i did. Within an hour i had a completely repaired toilet that worked like new and cost way less then i ever would have thought. Jimmy from Clearway is the company to call for any of your plumbing needs you will not find someone more honest, fair and reliable. Since the repair of my toilet i have used Jimmy multiple times for other issues and so has my friends and we have had nothing but good experiences and i would highly recommend Clearway Plumbing to anyone looking for a honest and reliable plumber or heating company you will not be disappointed!"

Bottom line - Mark hit all four at an incredibly high level...not only did he prove himself to indeed be a master plumber but also a master service provider. After a few not so successful experiences in the past, I am happy to say I have found my go to for all plumbing needs and I recommend MFS with my highest confidence. Details - I had a clogged drain which I was unsuccessful at snaking myself and proved to be a bit more complicated than initially thought, requiring some replacement plumbing. Mark responded to me immediately and his communication throughout the process was incredible. He made allowances to conform to my schedule, coming out on a Sunday even though it wasn't an emergency (and not charging emergency prices!). When the job required more than we had anticipated, Mark arranged to come back two days later, again convenient to my schedule, and completed the repair/replacement of some plumbing while clearing the pipes. Professional and superb quality of work, Mark was also wonderfully pleasant and enjoyable to work with. I was not able to be present for the final repairs on the second visit so Mark actually sent me pictures of the work upon completion and a video of the water vortexing down the drain! "We purchased a mother/daughter house in spring 2015. The main house needed remodeling and we wanted to completely renovate the smaller unit including the kitchen and bathroom (included reconfiguring the bathroom and moving a wall). The main unit work included a remodeling to make the main bathroom senior friendly and we added central A/C to both units. We also needed quite a bit of landscaping done which included removing concrete around the pool and repaving, adding a new fence & sod, building a fire pit and plantings. Andrew and his design team worked very closely with us during the planning stage to make sure that all our needs (and wants) were being met. They did professional renderings of the space with the proposed changes and made sure that we were happy with the final product before starting on any of the major projects. Andrew did a great job from start to finish on this project and I would say he has the ability to not only focus on the larger aspects of the job but also notice the smaller details. He even went above and beyond and spoke to the neighbors during the demolition stage so that they would know what to expect which I thought was a great and I'm sure they appreciated. All of the work that Andrew's team did was of the highest quality and we trusted him to get everything done to code and to our standards. Andrew has a good network of subcontractors and other specialists in the area and coordinated every aspect of the project so we didn't have to worry about finding different people for different jobs. This was extremely important since we weren't on site while work was being completed and didn't have the time to deal with this. If at any point we were unhappy with anything he would propose a solution and try to work with us. We ran into a few unforeseen issues since the house was older (which I think happens on almost any project!) but Andrew worked with us to explain everything and made sure they were taken care of. We are extremely happy with all the work that Andrew and his team did. The guys who work with him are trustworthy and worked hard and we couldn't have done any of this without them. I can honestly say that I was so excited with how spot on the finished project was compared to the vision that I had in mind at the beginning. I would definitely recommend Two Rivers and would hire them for any other projects."

"Pacific Stone did a nice job. Person in charge of scheduling measurements and installation was pleasant and courteous. Within a few days of my inquiry they came out to my house to take measurements and they brought samples to choose from. Installation was done within a few weeks after that. Took away the old countertops and sinks. They know what they're doing. One of the installers was actually the owner and they were prompt and professional and cleaned up well."

"We hired On The Level based on reviews in AngiesList. Ty Salazar is a nice guy and a great kitchen designer, but the fact that he was over an hour late to our initial meeting with him should have tipped us off. The quality of the work was excellent, and his people were always responsive to our requests and questions. It's the scheduling and timing that I had big problems with. We had timed the project so that it would get done over the summer and that we'd have a functionally working kitchen by Labor Day, after which the kids would be back in school. I worked very hard to ensure that all of the materials were ordered and delivered before they were needed. But Ty seemed to loose touch with the project around the middle of the summer, and that's when things went south. We went away for two weeks at the end of the summer, expecting to have a functional kitchen when we got back. When we returned, the kitchen was definitely not done. Not not only that but Ty invoiced me for the final payment, apparently without understanding that it wasn't finished. We did not have a working kitchen until late September, and the final cosmetics took a few weeks after that. The last piece was a shelf for a corner base cabinet, which took until the following January to be done correctly (after two failed attempts). I think part of the problem was that we had to get permits for the electrical and plumbing work, and the licensed electrician and plumber were both "prima donnas" who didn't come when they were supposed to, left the site without finishing the job, etc. Yet at several points in the project I asked for a schedule and was never given one, instead merely repeatedly assured that the project would be done on schedule (which it wasn't). We do seriously love the kitchen. Again, quality was never less than excellent. But the schedule problems went far beyond the usual 1-2 weeks late that you expect for projects like this."
