"Hoffman came out to check my furnace after it wasn't keeping up with the cold snap. Unfortunately, the heat exchanger was rusted, but we were able to schedule a replacement for 2 days later. I ended up with a new Lennox furnace/heat pump combo and had heat a few hours later that day. I did have some installation issues that were resolved a couple of days later. I had a lingering issue with a faulty humidistat on the thermostat, so the humidifier wasn't running. This was due to a bad batch of thermostats, but it was finally resolved on the fourth visit several weeks later. Overall, Hoffman was very easy to deal with, and they didn't ghost me after my check cleared. Communication was good. Although I would have rather had everything done correctly on the first visit, these things happen and I am happy with the end result. "

"Finken called to sell RO filters for RO system previously installed. They took payment over the phone and stated the filters were paid in full and drop off of the filters would occur. After drop off, invoices were sent requesting additional payment. When calling to discuss the issue, representatives give excuses as to why the original payment 'didn't go through'. They state there is a training issue, and conveniently the person who processes the invoices is never available. They state they take the credit card information at the time of original phone call and store it in their vault. I've requested they delete my information and stop calling me as I've already paid as they required before delivery. I will look into purchasing these replacements elsewhere as the business practices are questionable and customer service is poor. "

"Jan 2026 I want to share my terrible experience with Total Comfort Heating and Cooling. To start, I scheduled a routine maintenance appointment for my furnace in November and they could not find an opening until early January. As I get no notification the day before that my appointment is still on the books, I call to verify and they say it is. They do not give me a time window and then call me the day of the appointment to ask if I can reschedule. Their next opening is not for 3 weeks. If you are looking for something to actually show up on time and within a reasonable time frame. Stay far away from Total Comfort Heating and Cooling."

"Completely useless visit. I requested a water softener repair. The technician tested the water and discovered that it was hard (I knew this already because the water softener wasn't working). He pushed buttons on the control valve of the water softener and discovered that it wasn't working (I already knew this). They couldn't repair the water softener because it wasn't "their" equipment (brand and model was noted in the repair request, so they presumably already knew they wouldn't be able to repair, but came anyway). The technician volunteered to send a plumber and a sales consultant. Don't waste your $98 on Aquarius. This company is a complete scam. "
