(Note: Enoch disclosed the potential for these charges in the fine print of their bid). For instance, Enoch replaced the water pan... it?s a $5 part at HD and they charged me $40! Same story with some flex tubing... It?s clearly a way to present competitive bid and ?sting? the customer at install... Enoch, just put it in the initial bid! I would have paid them on receipt of the bill but made them wait a few weeks because their pricing practices."

They worked very hard in the hot sun and installed very patiently. Very cooperative, cleared all the questions we have. "We contacted Great Grout Tile Care through their website and promptly received a phone call and had an appointment scheduled.  The contractor, Giovanni Pipitone, arrived on time to assess the work needed. Giovanni spent considerable time showing us hands-on what was going on with the tile and grout in our double-sized shower. He alerted us to the possibility that there could be water damage to the wall behind the tiles so we wouldn't be caught off guard if additional work needed to be done. 

On the day the job was to start, Giovanni and his team arrived on time and the team promptly began working. This was a big job, so work continued into the second day.  However, at the end of the first day, we found that the team left the bathroom clean, accessible and free of work materials. (Thankfully, the walls were not damaged behind the tile; so although we were prepared for a major repair job, it didn't need to be done.) The job was finished on the second day, and when we went to check it out, we were extremely pleased.  Our tiles looked great, the grout was beautiful, and everything was clean and spotless, including the shower doors. The new grout around the fixtures, soap dishes and faucets made it look almost new. Because that job turned out so well, we decided to have the hall bathroom grout repaired too. That job was also completed seamlessly and looks beautiful.

One of the things we most appreciated about Giovanni's interaction with us was his ability to listen before speaking.  He actively listened  to our concerns and actually heard what we had to say before he began asking questions and offering comments.  Sometimes contractors are so eager to give a response it has left us feeling they didn't really hear our concerns or understand what we were saying. That definitely was not the case here. Giovanni was knowledgeable, professional, pleasant, polite and a great communicator. 

We received other bids that were lower, but we were impressed with Giovanni's knowledge and professionalism. When someone is working on (and in) your home, it's important to be able to trust what they're telling you.  No one else took the time to explain so thoroughly what needed to be done and why. So, yes, we paid slightly more for these jobs than if some other contractors had done them.  But we don't know what kind of job the "other contractors" would have done.  Great Grout's price was good, and we are extremely happy with the outcome. We don't hesitate to recommend them.
