"Robby and his crew were amazing. We are remodeling a 1930's bungalow and it needed a complete new HVAC system, ductwork and all. I talked with at least 5 HVAC companies and found Robby to be the most honest and helpful of all of them. I couldn't be more pleased and would not hesitate to recommend R Wiley to anyone that needs service or replacement."

"The technician was prompt, professional, and provided several options for solving my issue. Given that the current Trane system was 25 years old, he also provided written estimates for two different replacement systems. I opted for the parts replacement and repair and am pleased with the result. The company has also called since to check to see if I was satisfied with their service. Way to go TE Certified!"

"The latest visit diagnosed a failed ignition valve which needed to be ordered and replaced. They arrived promptly, assessed, diagnosed and ordered the parts immediately. It only took a few days for the parts to arrive and they were able to schedule me in for the service call. The first technician was able to maintain the ignition valve until the new part was available, which was directly responsible for heating my home. The second technician installed the part and was able to assist me in some technical updates on the app and digital thermostats. I learned so much from Michael and appreciated his knowledge and patience. He also fixed a safety issue on the second level and adjusted the air flow for the system. The system sounds so much quieter. It was a warranty issue with no cost."

"Excellent, four other electricians over 18 months were unable to install our Ring Doorbell. We kept getting Ring replacements, electrical parts, etc. He installed it in 15 minutes. Everything else was done flawlessly."

"We recently had a new HVAC unit installed and could not be more impressed with the experience. Under the company?s new ownership, everything from the initial consultation to the final installation was handled with professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail. The team was knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure the system was set up for long-term efficiency and comfort. It?s clear this company is focused on building lasting relationships with its customers, not just completing one-time jobs. We feel confident knowing we have a partner we can rely on for years to come and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality HVAC service."

"They were very professional in presenting various options for the installation. The time between order and install was then 36 hours, and day of install the crew arrived on time and completed with the scheduled time frame. Mr. Ashby personally did a follow-up visit to ensure our satisfaction. We would without question hire them again."

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Marietta, GA

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
