The company always lives by its quotes, the technicians always go beyond the expected, and for the first time in my life I am not tempted to do the work myself to avoid the hassle and disappointment when the work isn't done well, quickly, or for the price I expected. If they keep this up, I won't know how to do anything for myself in a couple of years."

"It took several visits to get the zone valve problem fixed, but we are up and running now. Everyone we dealt with was very polite and professional. One zone valve was replaced and then several days later another one needed replacing. They weren't working properly and another visit was needed. During that visit, we decided to perform a general maintenance and update of our entire hot water heating system. This included updated all 4 thermostats with new digital models, installing a zone valve control panel and a boiler cleaning."

"My freezer went out in the middle of the week, and after calling a couple of other places, I was pleased to find that SOS could send someone out as early as the next day.  The repairman was prompt, professional, and concise.  I noticed that he took his shoes off at the door without me asking, which I (and my hard wood floors) appreciated.  It was about 30 minutes worth of work, which he completed in 30 minutes.  I also appreciated the $20 instant discount for being an Angie's list member.  
I intend to call them again with any appliance issues in the future.
That being said, I rated price a B, not because it was high, but just a really small thing I'd like to see improved for the future. Up front I committed to a diagnostic fee in the event I did not accept the service ( which makes perfect business sense and provides assurance that I'm a serious customer), but the repairman quoted me a price ( only verbally) that perhaps came from his computer or his experience, but I think I would have felt a bit of assurance myself to have seen a listing of prices next to services. Again, small thing, I'd still recommend SOS to anyone."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
