Joe came by and looked at it all and because the situation was dangerous he and Larry came the very next day. Their estimate was clear and the job came in at the estimate (with one small additional nal.repair they found taking a part the toilet.). They walked me through everything and made me feel at ease. "Jeremy and his team did two jobs for us. HVAC for upstairs and later HVAC for downstairs. His pricing was very competitive to the other quotes we received. The upstairs system kept us at temp through the winter, but starts losing the set temp in the summer. He completed a warranty service which did not resolve the issue. The downstairs unit is two splits in two large rooms. We don?t need them to cool in the summer. In the winter one room is good, the other is incapable of getting to temp if it?s less than 40 outside. From 40 to 55 it requires going on full blast to barely reach 70 inside. I?m a bit shocked at how much electricity these two heats pumps consume in the winter, adding up to $800/month. He specced the system for both floors himself. The downstairs unit was contracted for smart controls, which has not been completed. I am overly patient. Many emails, texts, and calls. Latest job ?completed? in Nov 2024. I don?t believe Jeremy will finish or provide proper warranty support. "

"My daughter's kitchen sink was backing up. I could not remove with my 8 ft. Snake and we called Ben Franklin and asked for the hydro-jet service to remove the blockage. The technician could not remove the blockage due to a street elbow connection with clean out that prevented the hydro jet from traversing the drain pipe. Had to pay full price ($836) without solving the issue but was offered a $400 discount to have a complete replacement of the branch drain ($3100). I ended up getting a 15 ft. Snake and threaded it through the coupling where the copper branch met the PVC main drain and removed the blockage in less than an hour. Would not recommend this firm to anyone unsuspecting of the upsell tactics."
