"Very professional. They could have easily told me that I need more work ( e.g. costly tank removal) but they were able to abandon the UAT instead since there was no contamination of soils found."

"Had to repair a long incline gravel driveway that was heavily eroded. Lonnie and Natasha used their machines and added some more gravel. With the price being reasonable, they rebuilt the burms and drainage, and after almost a year and several heavy rainfalls the road is holding up very well. Highly recommended"

MGT Enterprise

"I had MGT Enterprise to build me a 850 ft gravel driveway, installed 2 drain tiles for the water drainage, cleared off 2 acres and completely graded the land for my house to be built on, and cleared the land for my septic field. They called around and found the most reasonable prices for the job. When the owner gave me an estimate, everything was itemized just as I asked so I could understand what was being spent. MGT Enterprise was very responsive and gave me their professional opinions and described how they would perform all the work when they gave me a quote. Whenever I had questions, they immediately had answers even if I thought they were ridiculous, they never made me feel like I didnt know anything. They were very prompt with job timing and kept me informed through the whole process. They would not leave the job until I came out and they made sure I was 100% satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any excavation or work in that area."

"When I initially contacted Clark Services, I had a smaller excavation in mind.  Joshua offered me the best bid of three contractors.  I decided to hire him.  When I told him that I would really like to excavate more of the property, but I couldn't afford it (based on the other bids), he offered some suggestions to keep the cost down and he gave me a reasonable bid for the full excavation, so I decided to go ahead with that plan.  He got started quickly.  He was conscientious about preventing dirt / mud from getting on the road.  He listened well and responded to any concerns I had throughout the project.  He worked long days to get the job done while the weather was good.  Before starting the project, I had found someone who wanted to buy fill dirt.  Joshua had the dirt delivered to that guy, offsetting the cost of the excavation a little.  Overall, it worked out very well; I will definitely consider Clark Services for future projects."

"I got a verbal quote from the owner (which was very reasonable) and scheduled the work to be done. The work team showed up on time and worked through to the end of the day.  As planned, they came back the next day to finish the job.  They cleaned everything up and took all wood, branches and debris away.  The final bill was as quoted. The work crew members were very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to give them my highest recommendation!

FAQs for water or fuel tank remove projects in Mars Hill, NC

There are several reasons why you might need to remove an oil tank. In some areas, local regulations require tanks to be removed after a certain period. Leaking tanks can pose hazards to drinking water and the environment. Plus, many municipalities won't allow property sales until an inspection confirms the oil tank is safe.

One option for disposing of an oil tank is to have your removal pro take it to a dismantling yard or salvage yard for recycling. If a salvage yard isn’t an option, you can contact a local landfill or a local oil tank removal service for help finding a proper disposal location for your tank. Typically, you’ll need to show there’s no sludge or residue in the tank.

A leaking oil tank reveals itself through increased energy bills and a noticeable oily sheen on water surfaces, which signals a malfunction. You may also experience strong oil odors and observe stained grass and deteriorating vegetation near your property. These clear warning signs demand immediate professional evaluation to protect the environment and secure your property’s safety.

Yes, states mandate soil testing during oil tank removal to detect hazardous pollutants that harm the environment. This testing confirms that no soil contamination exists. Certified specialists collect soil samples to meet regulatory requirements and ensure property safety. Conducting these tests protects water quality and the structure’s integrity while immediately triggering any necessary remediation measures.
