"Just too expensive for what you get. Feels like a big company nickel and dime move. I get having a trip charge. Which was $109. But then to have the tech who was great btw (not his fault), but was tentative about fixing the problem because of creating more damage. Another $160 for a simple diagnostic charge, again without fixing the problem. I already knew the diagnosis. So he basically did a Band-Aid fix (greased the Knob) and still charged me over $280+ for what equated to be 10 minutes of work. It was ridiculously high for the service provided. Next time I?m going to an independent, local guy."

Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "Rd.I had to pay an extra $15.00 because I had an extra air duct or intake vent. He discussed how often the ducts should be cleaned and offered another service that would help disinfect and keep dust mights down. The extra service also extended the length of time before I would need to have the vents cleaned again. I chose the extra service and will not have to have it done again until 8-10 years from now. My nephew who is 45 was not happy I was having the ducts cleaned but he was pleased with their work in the end. I had this done in my last house twice so I am not new to this. I was pleased with their work. They started immediately and finished about an hour and fifteen minutes later. I have house that is almost 2,000 sq. feet. The $230.00 includes the $89.00 I paid when I ordered it through Angie's List.

"CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"
