I have used Advent before and have never had a problem with them giving me the 10% as listed. I had a very leaky shutoff valve in my bathroom that needed to be replaced so I called Advent since I have been satisfied with my experiences with them. When I mentioned the discount this time the man who did the work told me that the discount was really supposed to be only for the service call, but that he would go ahead and give it to me. If it is supposed to be only 10% off of the service call that should be clearly stated on their Angie's List page. So it the discount only for the service call or for the total bill?"

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Great! We have a regular monthly payment that gets us 2 inspections per year. The contract also gives you discounts on repairs, which our old system needed several times. Finally we decided to replace our old HVAC system. We contacted them in May which happened to be their slow time. Since their crews weren't busy, the owner gave us a discount because we agreed to have the systems installed the next day. They installed 2 complete HVAC systems for $17,000. Two months after the installation, during the hottest weather so far, we developed a leak. We called & they came out the very next morning. Turned out a condensation drain was not properly aligned. Of course, there was no charge because we were still under their warranty. They fixed the problem quickly & efficiently. There will even fix the drywall where the leak came through the ceiling & match the paint. I think the mark of a good company is not only how they handle your business the first time, but more importantly how they take responsibility to fix a problem."

"Wolf did a great job and did it quickly. This was a sliding glass door in a sunroom, which was originally a full Metal frame solarium "kit" installed in the mid 80's. The firm that installed the sunroom wanted over $450 to just come and look it to see if they could repair, but were recommending we just replace the door at approximately $5K?? Wolf came made some adjustments and lubricated the tracks...done and working great, at a mere fraction or the costs quoted by others. Plan to use him again in the future!"

"Only complaint really is $165 for a thermocouple replacement, after the discount I get as a monthly services customer-- not discounted price was $245 --  the part is only $6, and he was only there for an hour or less. They were also supposed to come out around in the morning, as 12:30 rolled by I called, and they pushed back to 4."
