"We called AHC after some damage was done to our house and we needed an estimate to give to our insurance company. As we are new homeowners and had never lived in a cinderblock house like the one we have now, we had no idea if the damage was significant or only cosmetic. I called AHC on a Monday and was able to schedule an assessment that week on a Thursday. When Albert arrived he heard our story of what happened and then walked through the house with us. We showed him images and videos of the damage taking place. He reviewed them and ask specific questions. Then, he went in the attic and carefully looked for damage. When he returned he relieved us not only by saying he saw no structural damage but also by thoroughly explaining the specifics of our house's construction and where he looked for damage. We showed him our areas of concern and he patiently heard us and looked everything over, inside and out. In the end, our damage was merely cosmetic and could be fixed with simple DIY touch ups. We felt so bad that we had wasted his time, but he reassured us that it was not a problem and that he was happy to help. Even though we did not require a contractor, Albert stayed with us and look at everything we wanted to show him until we were satisfied and set at ease. He explained what significant damage would have looked like, the difference in what he saw in our walls, and how we could fix everything ourselves. He described an expensive procedure we could pursue, but advised us that he didn't think it would be worth it for the cost and the mess involved. We were extremely satisfied with the thoroughness of Albert's assessment and grateful for his patience and his reassurance. He didn't have to spend the time he did with us or provide as much detail in his explanations. The fact that he did speaks volumes to his honesty, helpfulness, and concern for his clients. When we look to remodel in the future, we will certainly be calling AHC first."

"They took a full day to clean our house and separate garage.  There's aluminum siding and painted woodwork/trim on the exterior, along with concrete steps, two porches, and a very extensive slab and driveway.  Jeremy was on time, took pride in their work and met my husband afterwards.  Because I was out of town, my husband texted me pictures and was just incredulous that anyone could do such a fantastic job.  We both felt it was above and beyond anything we expected.  Jeremy and his team set the bar extremely high!   <br /> Extensive mold on the sides of our house was removed.  Every bit of concrete around the house was transformed. I had no idea painted numbers were on our steps, but his cleaning revealed it!  All of the white painted trim work is immaculate and made a huge difference in the house's appearance.  They even removed yard debris and chopped down some of our dead plants (we had a big frost hit New Orleans, killing most of our plants).   <br /> I highly recommend Jeremy and his team.  They do an excellent job, are extremely efficient and very affordable.  We plan on using him for all of our exterior housework from here on out. "Again, another great job by Albert and his brother. They graciously helped me pick up the door at a location a half-hour away from our home the day before install and delivered it to our house.  They were on time the next morning.  Removed old front door and installed new one perfectly, no issues.  They added electrical lines to either side of the door to install new decorative lighting.  This required them to cut through the interior drywall which they patched to match the existing drywall texture.  (I volunteered to paint it after they left so we could let the drywall patch dry completely.)  Their quality of work has really helped improve the curb appeal of our home.  We will definitely call them again for future home improvement projects. <br />"

"I want to begin by saying that we are very happy with the results of our home improvements and the work that was done by A-1 Remodeling. I would hire them again without hesitation and highly recommend them. We had a quick response after contacting them. They sent someone to talk with us, do a walk-thru of the house, and discuss our wish list.  I already had in my mind what a fair price would be for all of the work I wanted done, and I was upfront with the dollar range that I had in mind.  He was prompt in getting us an estimate and it was within my budget.  We agreed on when they would begin (it should be noted that we had not yet purchased the house), and they came to work on the date that we agreed upon.  We were not living in the area during any of the renovations and once the work began inside the home it was empty.  I know that we drove the contractors crazy asking silly questions and having our neighbors come over to check on them, but to their credit they never showed it and answered all questions with patience.  I really did appreciate that more than anything as this is our dream home, and for us a great deal of money.  We were actually on-site quite a bit and my husband and I both enjoyed our interactions with the crew.  If they said they would be there at a certain time, they always were there on time and worked hard the entire time they were at the house.  We did ask for assistance unloading some things that were delivered and they always helped with gracious kindness.  Probably like many people I changed my mind a few times during this process, and asked for some additional work or ordered different materials.  This as always handled with no problems and the estimate was re-worked and presented quickly.  I deliberately waited a few months before reviewing this company because I have hired contractors in the past (not this company) whose work did not stand the test of time.  Everything that was done by A-1 is still beautiful, works perfectly, and makes me happy every time I look at it.  And for me, that is the highest recommendation that I can offer.  We did ask for quotes on doing some additional work to the house, and for some reason the quotes offered were extremely high so we decided to either hire someone else or not do the work.  I think that the estimates were so high because they would have had to hire someone out side of their regular crew to do the work.  I would like to say that I liked the fact that there were the same group of people doing the work with a very few exceptions (granite and backsplash installation). <br />"

"We have used ECO for several projects over the years, beginning in 1995, when they did a flood remodel for my mother.  The next project was a complete bathroom remodel, including a new 3 x 5 shower and a whirlpool tub .  The next job was the construction of a ground level deck with a stairway to the second story deck of the house.   We haven't had a need since then but we would use their services for future projects."
