"I called Watkins at 5:00pm to report that our air conditioner wasn't cooling.  I was told that all technicians were busy but they would call as soon as one became available.  Within 30 minutes a truck was in our driveway!!  The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part (capacitator) in his truck, and completed the service within 45 minutes.  Total cost, including after-hours service call, was $305.12.
The first time I called Watkins was in 2014 when a competitor (that I had used for semi-annual maintenance for almost 20 years!) told us we had a cracked heat exchanger.  The cost to repair was very expensive so I called Watkins for a complementary second opinion.  The Watkins' technician told me this competitor was famous for this heat exchanger "scam" and found no problem whatsoever this our system.  I knew then that I could trust Watkins and would definitely use them in the future.  Today was that opportunity and I have nothing but high praise for them!!

"We got several quotes from local HVAC providers / installers. We felt the most comfortable with the salesman from Extreme One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and I got the best price from them which also included a 2-year membership in their Comfort Club (Spring and Fall service visits to check and tune-up my system). They then submitted all of our rebate paperwork to Vectren and DP&L for us. We were very impressed with the whole process of buying and installing a complete new HVAC system. "It wasn't an emergency, so I didn't want to call after hours. I went online around 8pm and scheduled an appointment online. The next morning, they texted at 7am to say a tech would be there between 8 and 10am. Then the tech (Angie) called at 7:30am and said she would be there at 8:20am. She found the problem and had the parts on-hand to fix immediately. Then she checked other components (air handler and heat pump) to make sure heat and cool modes worked properly. The next morning I receive a call from "Jake" from Wells, very courteous and prompt. Jake looked at the heat exchanger with a camera, he found no holes anything that looked abnormal. Jake than worked to free up the part that was "frozen " and kept the blower motor from working at  all. After Jake freed the part up and checked out the whole furnace. After turning on the furnace, everything kicked in as it should. Jake than checked for any carbon monoxide on his meter, with a zero reading after 10 mins. I was so thrilled.....they were honest and did what they said they were going to do, of course with safety in mind. I have a new carbon monoxide detector for safety's sake. Wells did not try to automatically sell me a furnace just because I have an older furnace. I know who I will call for any service or when I need a new furnace.
