"I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. This review is for all of you that are like me and come here to get the low down on a business. Do not hesitate to go with South Shore Fireplace. It is very hard to find craftsman who really care about what they do and also so nice to deal with. South Shore Fireplace will be my go to guys for the rest of my life. Love you guys - job well done and sincere thank you for your continued support throughout the years."

"Peter was incredibly responsive.  He responded to my initial email within a couple of hours. I received quotes from 2 other plumbers for the work and all were about the same price but Peter was by far the most responsive and professional.  He gave me a 1-hour window from 11-12 and showed up right at 11:30.  He took the time to answer any questions I had about the permit / inspection process and operation / maintenance of the new water heater.  He will definitely be my go-to for any plumbing needs in the future.

"Very well. Rob was punctual and informative. He took his time explaining to me in colloquial terminology what was happening, not only with the intended project, but a few other things going on in our old house. He then went about working diligently replacing the drain and faucets in our tub. The work took a day and he charged far less then another quote we got from another plumber. Rob had to cut through a very thick and tough tile and cement wall to access the drain. Once the plumbing was installed, he then covered the hole with a plate which turned out to be a good option for the tub aesthetically."

"Ed was very responsive and prompt in his communications and his work was of a very high caliber (A-, but closer to A than B). He was very professional when we asked him to clean up a few smudges left on the floor and left a followup call to determine our satisfaction with his work. He was, perhaps, a bit rushed in the last room, which had the most detail work. I recommend taking the time to review thoroughly with him any special details or touches you want and being present to oversee, at least in the beginning.
He was pleasant and very quiet to have working in the house--If he plays any music while working, the volume is definitely kept low. We would use him again and recommend him to others.
Even though we paid extra for the extra work, we got real face lift at a very reasonable cost.
