"I hired Bob to do repairs and renovation of a condo rental unit. He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. Bob is a great problem solver and works with you to suggest ways to do repairs for the best outcome while keeping costs down. His work is high quality. I would definitely hire him again."

"Dedicated service. They stated 23 hours straight until the job was done. Great service and a great price."

"It went well. Bertie Walsh is a nice guy. He did the job and the cost was reasonable"

I have worked with my hands for as long as I can remember. First as an auto mechanic for many years,2 years as a carpenter and 7 years as an electricians apprentice. I went into business as a handyman with a good friend 5 years ago and I realized this is what I've always wanted to do. My daughter has always been by my side, watching and learning with a curiosity that reminds me of my younger self. She turned 18 in March and we started Ask Phred Handyman Services together. Ask Phred is a father and daughter company, what can we do for you today?

"Will is an excellent communicator. He called me back promptly, showed up exactly when scheduled and presented clear and practical options for our upgrade. He and his crew were polite, professional and highly skilled. South Shore Mechanical provided excellent value of the money."

"I called Joseph and needed him to come out on short notice to replace our 20 year unit right before a particularly hot weekend. He promptly came out the next day (a Saturday) to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the new unit wasn't available and had to be ordered, so we had to wait a few days before it could be installed. Joseph and his father completed the project at a very reasonable rate, while working through a lot of unforeseen issues. My only constructive criticism of him would be to be more proactive with calling customers and providing them with a status of the project if it runs longer than expected."

"Great! Thorough and efficient. would use again"

"I used MA Design & Construction for my kitchen remodel. Raquel and Marc were very helpful in going through the options from painting the existing cabinets through to full replacement. We started with more modest changes but after debate ended with essentially their initial recommendation. The workers throughout the project were professional and I never felt uneasy with them being around the family. As the project progressed there were recommendations that Marc or Raquel would make which led to a better outcome. Marc would also pick out imperfections in the work and insure they were addressed which was appreciated. We're very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again."

"Gabe and his crew were fantastic. He moved us up on his schedule, and came within a couple days of calling him. They did fantastic work, and cleaned up after themselves. They came when they said they would, and did the work they said they would for the cost they estimated. As a bonus, while they were power washing my house, they also power washed my fence without asking and without charging me. They also painted my shed to match my house. Could not be happier."
