"Mike Zam and his worker Albert cleaned all my air ducts, registers, and dryer vent. I paid $530 for the first 15 ducts and vents. After that I paid $20 per additional duct and vent. I paid $100 for the dryer vent cleaning for a total of $740. While the work was being completed Mr. Zam made a strong sales pitch for another $1400 to be paid for an Air Scrubbers Plus--a whole house air purifier which is attached to the furnace. He also strongly advised me to pay another $310 to have the coil blades in my furnace cleaned. (I got him down to $270) While he was taking the bottom part of my Lennox furnace apart he received a phone call. He then told me he had to leave and than another service man would call me the next day to do the job. As a result, I had time to call my HVAC service man to discuss these high price additions. He informed me that neither was needed. I checked online regarding the Air Scubbers Plus and found out that the whole- house air purifier's effectiveness greatly diminishes the farther away a room is from the unit. After the men (about 2 1/2 hrs or so) I discovered a lower register hanging off the wall in my living room. In my bedroom the upper and lower registers were reinstalled backwards, making it impossible to slide the lever controlling the louvers. To move the lever necessitated a hammer and a screwdriver. My recommendation to anyone considering air duct cleaning is to watch the process closely. I did not with Eco Friendly Services. And I regret it."

"I don't recall the price. It was likely for a whole electric inspection kind of thing or maybe to look at the actual system. Everything was good. I remember he was good. He had a lot of little suggestions that I didn't do for the little things. I didn't take any of that. He was very responsive. They called me a number of times before coming and the person was on time. He was good. I had a thing that we wanted to change. He tried quite a bit to do that, although it was not part of the description. He called other people and figured out it could not be done so he left it. The point was that he tried. He went out of the way to do that additional stuff, but he did not charge for that. He didn't do it actually, but he spent time trying to do it."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"Our water was full of iron and left our toilets, showers, sinks, and even parts of washing machine orange. We have been dealing with this issue for many years and were sick of dealing with it. Recently, Bryan at Southeast Plumbing and Gas installed a water filtration system to our existing ( salt) water softener. It’s has been about 2 months now and so far the iron on any surfaces has not returned. Before the new system , the iron would have started to return within a few days. We are very satisfied with this new system so far and are looking forward to no more terrible iron or terrible smell. Our water also had a terrible sulfur , sometimes , metallic smell. Bryan said he could guarantee no iron in water once I had new filtration system installed but could not guarantee the odor would be gone. But he also told us that he felt that once he installed new filtration system that with the carbon filters that most probably the smell would go away or smell better. Well, he was right - the new filters took away the smell too, except in faucets that do not get used daily. Also, he thought he was going to have to add some parts to my system, but after checking my existing system , he told me that my system already had those parts on it-he could save me$200.00. I thanked him for being so honest. He could have pocketed the $200.00 and I wouldn’t have known that my system already had those parts. So he was very honest to tell me that and I really appreciated it!! We are very pleased with our new filtration system. Bryan did a great job and we appreciate all of his efforts to do his best for us to have a water system that gives us fresh smelling - no iron-good water!! He was very kind and respectful.
