"We hired Air-Tech to replace all the old ductwork in our home and install a new furnace and A/C unit. They did a great job. Alex Fish was extremely responsive to all of our questions, from start to finish. He was great at explaining all of the options, and the pro's and con's of each, before we signed up. He also stopped by several times during the installation, which lasted 4-5 days. The two technicians who did the work were extremely professional, tidy, polite, etc. They wore face masks at all times and even took a long break one day when we asked them to because we needed silence for an important Zoom meeting. All in all, Air-Tech is a highly professional outfit. While it's only been a few weeks since the installation, everything is working as it should and we are very happy with the outcome. Highly recommended!"

They were very considerate and laid a tarp on all the floors to minimize trash or dirt on the floor. "Everything went as smoothly as can be imagined. Darrow was easy to work with when planning the job. He worked with my attention to details as I chose the AC and heating units that I wanted and, at my request, put every detail in writing. It was a big job - completely replacement of two systems on two floors including roof mounted AC and basement and attic furnaces. His crew were respectful, professional and always on time. The work proceeded exactly as it was described. Construction messes were cleaned up at the end of every workday. The work was finished on time. As in every big project, there was a "punch list" of details that needed to be attended to. Darrow came out immediately and took care of ALL the details big and small on the list. "West Tech Mechanical Services (Joe Gonsalez) did an excellent job. This is the best investment that I have ever made for our quality of life in our home. Joe's attention to detail is evident in the care and consideration that he put into the duct work in the installation process. He thoroughly explained to me the importance of the duct work: location and size of the ducts to maximize the efficiency of the system that he was installing. Our home is an old home, and I really appreciate the care that he took in the installation process. I obtained 3 quotes for this job and West Tech Mechanical was in the middle. All the persons that came to our house were nice people. However, Joe's obvious attention to detail and how he explained the job is what convinced me that he and his company were the right people for the job. "I found Precision Auto Works here on Angie's List.  They had great reviews and a 10% off labor coupon.  I decided to give them a try.  I pulled into the parking lot and was a little leery because it looks like you are parking next to a house.  Do not let this stop you.  You ARE supposed to park there.  Walk around the house to the back and you will find the office and see the shop.  It's a strange set up, but this place was awesome. 
I have never had such great customer service from an auto mechanic.  I had an engine light on in my car and I needed an oil change.  A friend had pulled the error codes from my car and I was able to walk in with those.  The office spent several minutes with me discussing and looking up the codes.  They called the mechanic (Dave) in and he also spent quite a bit of time with me.  As a female, I have never felt so comfortable at an auto shop before.  I left my car and waited for an estimate. 
A couple of hours later they had located the problem (an actuator) and gave me an estimate.  For parts, labor and a synthetic oil change, the estimate was $450.  $80 or so of that was my synthetic oil change (which is about average).   $175 was for the actuator part.  $200 for labor (with my 10% off coupon labor came to $180).  So anyway, right around $450.  Now here comes the good part.  They called a second dealership to check for the part so they could get the car back to me on the same day.  The other dealership wasn't going to have it available until the following day.  We're not sure what happened but the second dealership listed the part for $50.  They called me with the great news about the price drop and told me my car would be ready that day.  Do you know how easy it would have been for this mechanic to just charge me the full $450?  I never would have known the difference.   However, they did not do that.  They passed on the savings.  My final bill?  $301.  
I felt they we're upfront and honest throughout the entire experience.  They mentioned they will be calling the first dealership to find out why they had such a huge price difference and mentioned they will not work with them in the future if they are gouging their prices.  It may have been an honest mistake somewhere along the way but either way, they are looking into it.  I love that they kept me in the loop and told me absolutely everything that was happening.  Not many shops would take the time to keep a customer so informed.  
Try this place! You just might find "your" new mechanic!
**As as a side note, this experience has convinced me to renew my Angie's List membership.  I don't use the site very often but if I can find even one compnay a year that provides an experience like Precision Auto Works, then my membership pays for itself.
