"Tried getting in touch with Nick thru at first thru messaging and then phone which was nearly immediate. He was able to make an apt next day. They showed up 15 min early, figured out the problem almost immediately and had a new chimney cap on in under 30 minutes (on a cold windy day in January.) "Contractor response was professional and great. Phone calls were returned, appointments promptly scheduled, showed up on time, explained estimates, removed all debris and cleaned up work area. In addition after starting the repair job the contractor uncovered some hidden damage not included in his repair estimate. Repairing the uncovered damage required travel time to pick up additional materials and additional repair time. When all was said and done we were only charged for the cost of the additional materials, the contractors time was on the house! Now that's what I call SERVICE!"

"I initially contacted CK Tile and Stone in May and they said they were swamped as a result of their 'Big Deal' promotion $550 for 40 Sq ft of back splash till end of July (fancy designs, materials, could cost extra). We decided that we'd wait for things slow down for them. Then in July they said they had a cancellation and could fit us in.
We had already purchased our tiles and we took longer to come up with a design for the section above the range while they were on-sitee. We had an additional area at the table next to the pantry that that worked on as well. This was a 2 day effort to let the grout/tile adhesives to dry. They were accommodating to our design ideas and provided ideas of their own.
The overall workmanship and quality looks great! They cleaned up the left over debris and materials. They came back a 3rd day since we requested additional caulking and sealing (for the limestone tiles). We are very satisfied and would love to have them over to do the same when we decide to finish our basement!

"In Spring 2012, we obtained quotes from three companies to tear out two existing retaining walls along the driveway and re-build them using Versalok, excavate and grade the backyard, and build a 3.5 - 4 foot retaining wall in the backyard using the stone from the old retaining walls. Genadek had the middle quote; they were also the only company to follow up with a phone call. The whole job took about 4 1/2 weeks. Stan, Mike, Tim,  Rob and Andrew were very professional and friendly; our neighbors even raved about them. They cleaned up the job site at the end of each day and communicated frequently so there were no surprises.
My only recommendation to those interested in hiring Genadek is to get on their schedule early. Their calendar books up fast!
