"I own a minivan and I use it for work, I put a bunch of miles on it and it frequently needs repairs.  When it's down I can't work.  It's not the prettiest vehicle on the road but it's very important to my livelihood.   I had been to my old mechanic twice because I could smell gas when I drove my van and even when it was parked.  Both times I left my van there for several hours and was told there wasn't a fuel leak.  I don't even think they took more than five minutes to look at it each time.  I was frustrated so I came to Angies list to look for a new mechanic.  Joe's was highly rated so I decided to give them a try.  WOW what a difference!  I arrived late in the afternoon and  I was greeted immediately when I showed up, Joe gave me plenty of time to explain what was going on with my car.  He asked me to leave it overnight and he would look at it first thing in the morning.  He also asked if I needed a ride anyplace or if he could arrange a rental car for me.  A couple hours later I received a call from him, he had made time to look at it that evening.  He explained the repairs and gave me a quote.   <br /> My van was repaired by the end of business the next day.  Joe took the time to explain  the repairs, and provided me with a computer generated receipt, that I could actually read instead of the hand written scribble I'm used to getting at my old mechanic.  He let me know I could go online to his website at anytime and get a history of repairs and he explained the many benefits of using a Triple A approved and Napa Auto center.  I'm sold.  I have never been treated better at a mechanic shop and I'd been faithfully going to my old mechanic for several years and never experienced the level of professionalism and customer care that Joe's provided.  The shop is clean and the waiting room had wi-fi AND magazines other than Road and Track!    <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Two Days: That's all, it took to re-pipe our Townhouse! Day: The re-pipe workers descended upon our house at 8 AM and immediately went to work with all the precision of a rocket launch. Short story: the entire re-pipe took only one day and they were gone an cleaned up by 5 PM with the water on! Day 2: The drywall workers descended upon our house at 8 AM and immediately went to work with all the precision of a rocket launch. They patched up all the holes in the drywall throughout the house that were used the day before to run new water pipes. They were done, cleaned up and gone by 5 PM. Next day, I had to re-paint a couple walls, but no big deal. All the workers were nice people and easy to get along with - the price was very good as well! I heartily recommend Mr. Re-Pipe!"

"We have used this company twice in one month.Very happy with the service, responsiveness and professionalism.  We had a leaking valve in an upstairs shower that was causing water damage on our ceiling in living room. They figured out the problem and got it fixed.  Two weeks later, we had blockage in our downstairs drains.  Turns out there were tree roots growing into clay sewer pipes and they got that fixed for us.  Prices were very reasonable.  They showed up when they said they would.  Ash, Aram and Steve.   <br />"

"<p>Over the last three or four years we had spent close to two thousand dollars on plumbers trying to keep our sewer drain lines permanently open. But to no avail. They ran cameras through the old clay and cast iron pipes from the street into the house as far as they could and until Mike from E.R. Block conducted the same camera investigations did we have a clear solution. Mike was able to determine that some of the old clay sewer pipes were actually coming apart at some of the joints. After determining that the most effective approach in terms of cost and time was to go under our raised foundation house and cut away all of the existing cast iron and galvanized sewage pipes, leave the old pipes in the ground and replace them with new ABS pipes. This was no small task since there is not much room under the house! But Mike determined that with some excavation there would be enough room to allow for the right drainage pitch. So he quickly planned out the project, purchased the materials and jumped right in. In addition to all of the under house efforts he also had to dig up and expose several sections of the clay sewer pipes outside of the house foundation and determine where to go under the foundation to connect to the existing sewer line. No easy task since the pipe was over four feet down! But in the process he determined that there was an undiscovered section of clay pipe that had broken and would have eventually collapsed. This section was replaced. Also in the process of removing the drainage lines from under the kitchen Mike discovered that they were almost completely plugged with sixty years of old grease and crud. My wife is extremely ill suffering from cancer and kidney failure and Mike being the kind of man he is worked tirelessly from early morning until late in the day for three days to complete the job as quickly as possible. He did a GREAT job! All drains are working perfectly now.</p> <br />"

"Benny and his son arrived right on time for a 9 AM appointment. They were asked to give a quote for replacing a gas ball valve, cutting a non-plumbing pipe, and turbo-jetting a drain pipe that goes out to the street. They were on time, professional (didn't try and pressure me into anything other than why they were called), and will be returning to perform the requested work."

"The plumbing is working again.  Provider disconnected the leaking pipe section during the first day of service, allowing us to use both hot and cold water in parts of the house.   This allowed us to have a half functioning house until the problem was fixed a few days later.  This saved us from going to hotels or work for showers. <br /> Provider also cut out the sheetrock carefully, reducing the costs for refinishing the walls. <br /> Careful cleanup of the mess at the end. <br />"

"<p>This company is top notched. Javier who schedules the appointments, is a professional, and his customer service skills are impressive. Ed who was the plumber who came to our house and installed our new toilet and was the one who pointed out the musty smell at our front door and proved my suspicious correct when he suggested there could be a broken pipe underneath the house. Sure enough we indeed had a broken pipe, and it was the sewer line and it was underneath our house. He immediately called Giovanni and they both went to work as to analyze the problem and make suggestions of what needed to be done. Giovanni expertise and skills are excellent and told us exactly what needed to be done in order to fix the broken sewer line. Since it was later in the day, they couldn't work on the line until the next day. Ed ended up finishing installing our toilet and then came another problem. The toilet we purchased was defective and Ed was nice enough to come back after we came back from Lowe's with another toilet, so he could finish the installation. Ed did a fantastic job in installing the new toilet. He was courteous and highly skilled. Plotke Red Lilly Plumbing crew did a fantastic job with our toilet and the broken sewer line and there prices are really quite reasonable and I will definitely recommend and use them as our main plumbing company again. </p> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Morongo Valley, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
