He calmly assessed the situation, and set up a time to return the following morning. His workers were polite, professional, and meticulous, and did an unbelievable job of cleaning up a horrible mess. By the end of the day the damaged items, sewage , and much of the smell was gone. Huge fans and a germ-killing ionizer ran for three days. When they were finished the floor was bone dry and absolutely clean. It occurred to us that the floor could not have been better cleaned if it were being prepped for painting. So we will be doing so. "We needed a home inspection anticipating buying property and found Dr. Irwin through Angie's List. This was a new experience for us and he was very responsive in communication and flexible in scheduling a visit. In addition his explanation of anticioated services was complete and helpful . Pre inspection we knew there was an issue with the feasibility of the roof inspection. Nevertheless he really tried his best given the limiting safety and accessibility factors. His work was very thorough spending nearly 5 hours in the process of examination. In addition, Dr. Irwin is a very kind , conversive seemily easy going and pleasant family man who immediately puts you at ease with the process. He is a good active listener and answers your questions completely. Lastly, his report of findings was delivered very quickly within a day. "I called Adam’s Asbestos and Mold testing after we had a small fire and our contractor told us there may be an asbestos issue. Adam himself called me back within minutes, and he was at the house right away! He was professional and very detailed in his work. "I had a poor experience. I hired this company to do a mold assessment in my apartment. I dealt with the owner. First, he requested cash or check payment only. He made an appointment and did not show up or contact me. I had to call him. In one of the rooms, the pipes above and whatever else the cause of the leak was, had been leaking repeatedly for 40 years, and the plaster constantly replaced. I was worried about mold ABOVE the ceiling on the beams and studs and not just the visible mold on the ceiling plaster and I worried it could be black mold. He did not seem to listen to what I told him and he did not use a water meter to check for saturation or a borescope or any other tools except taking a surface sample and air sample (the borescope and water meter I did not know about until after I had paid him for this inadequate job). He did not mention anything I said in the report. He was also rude and unkind and never provided me with a receipt."
