"Tisdale did an amazing job. I purchased a distressed property through the FHA 203k program. The house is a 1924 Spanish style home. I had met with at least 5 contractors in addition to Chris Dowd from Tisdale. Most of these other contractors, while having glowing reviews on Angie's List, were more of "New Builders" and didn't seem to have much experience with older homes. This house needed a lot of work, but I knew it would be worth it to fix it up if I could find the right contractor. I had a firm budget and a long, long list of things to fix.















When Chris first met me to go over everything it needed, I could tell he had experience with older homes as he gave very specific details about the repairs that were needed and how he would handle them. Then he told me that he was in the process of restoring his own older house and I knew I had found the right contractor! This was an extremely complex project, with a lot of paperwork due to the 203k. Chris, Peggy and Hope handled everything extremely well. I always had a phone call or email almost immediately when I had questions, and Chris kept on top of all the subs, paid close attention to detail and kept the project moving constantly and on budget. And anything that wasn't right was fixed immediately. We had 6 months to finish everything and they did it in 3! Great job, Tisdale! I love my new (old) house!
