"ECC installed a new condenser and coil. Tony, who is one of the owners, did the job himself with two assistants. He was very personable, respectful, and thorough in his explanation of the work. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner, the work zone was left in clean condition and the installation itself appears to be very neat and professional. My strong impression is that Tony and his co-owner, Ed, are two highly experienced and professional craftsmen in this business who take pride in their work and I appreciated having the actual owners, not salesmen and crews, developing the proposal and performing the installation. The entire experience, beginning with Lisa at the office, Ed, who developed the proposal, and finally with Tony and his team, was excellent and I will certainly hope to engage them for future HVAC needs."

Horizon charges only $49 to come out and there is always a $50 coupon for plumbing repair and $99 for drain cleaning complete on their website so basically the minimum charge is free if you have the work done. I found their prices about average for plumbing repair and great for drain cleaning. These two technicians are exceptional. The customer service is efficient and available 24/7. They do not charge more for Saturday, Sunday or Emergency service since they are available 24/7. There pricing is upfront, you either take it or leave it. Many times the technician found a way to fix the problem at a lower price point. Horizon is my new go to contractor for all my plumbing and drain cleaning issues. Greg Bale worked with his staff to find valve stems for a 22 year old roman tub faucet, put them in and now my faucet is as good as new saving hundreds of dollars in having to replace the faucet or possibly even the tile that may have had to be replaced to get a new faucet installed. I only wish they did electrical services too! Greg had to come back to install the valve stem and did not charge me another trip charge to finish the work."

"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. They are really good. I had four guys out here for, like three days. They put in a great heat pump real easily. Not only did they put in a new furnace, but the ducting that was in here at the house was, like, 30 years old so they tore it out and re-did it with custom ducting made out of big sheets of metal. They only charged me $3,000 for the furnace. I am glad I did because it has made a huge difference in the air quality here. They came out yesterday. They said they would be back for the winter servicing. I have an oil backup so they were out for a number of hours yesterday. They will service it for the next 10 years and it is under warranty for 10 years too. They are great guys. Frank Ford is the owner of it. He and his guys do excellent work and really care. Their prices are as good as anybody. The price depends on what unit you get so it is hard to say. These guys are terrific. I would say if you needed a new heat pump or furnace they should be number one on your list.
