"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"I called Randy Lane Plumbing after feeling like I got completely ripped off by a different company. The person I talked to on the phone was very nice, and even though I had told them that I didn't need work done, they took the time to talk me through what had already been done at my house and what their costing would have been on it. With the "bad" company, I paid $424 for 80 minutes of work and $30-$60 of parts, and when I questioned the bad company that did it to ask for itemization on how this $424 total was calculated, got yelled at for questioning their pricing structure. Randy Lane was upfront about what their labor rates would have been, and I would have probably gotten the work done for $280 or less if done by them. I wish I had worked with them (and will give them a try in the future), and really appreciate that they took the time to talk me through their pricing."

"In the last 2+ years Doug has been to my rental property 6 or 7 times.  I was diagnosed with Old Furnace Syndrome by another company prior to hiring Doug.  Fall 2014.  Not worth repairing they said.  I was looking at a large amount of money to remove the old furnace and install a new one.  I called Doug on a reference, not Angie's List,  and he came out to the property.  Doug  was able to diagnosed and properly fixed the problem.  He has since been to the property to fix and repair other issues on the furnace that have come up.  The best part is that we have never met.  I live 4 hours away from the property.  All correspondence has been by phone.  The most recent visit was to inspect the furnace and venting for the pending sale of the house, along with repairing some loose bricks on the chimney.    Doug has done a great job of repairing and maintaining my old gravity furnace, along with saving me a bunch of money.
