"We had two other companies come out before hiring A Better Electric. The first two companies came out, and spent no more then 10 mins. in the house. One was 40 mins. late and never bothered to call letting us know. The other company looked it over, said they would send us a estimate but we never heard back from him.

Dave from A Better Electric was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He called to confirm our estimate time, he showed up a few minutes earlier then promised. When he arrived he spent plenty of time listening to us and looking over what we wanted done. Due to the old age of our home he decided to also do a quick inspection of our wiring and our main electrical box.

He had found some serious issues with the old wiring. When he took the cover off our main box he spotted many wires which had been melted away. He showed us how our box was over loaded and was a fire hazard.(the other two companies never bothered to look in our box)

He was able to give us options to choose from which was nice.  We now have a new larger panel with a whole home surge protector, fans installed with dimmers, upgraded outlets and some new wiring. 

We hired him on the spot and scheduled our appointment. He again arrived on time, there was no mess and was done on time as promised.

We also plan on getting a whole home generator in the near future and will use Dave again.

"Stefan and Jeremy were professional, clean and informative.  They arrived a little late due to traffic and construction issues, but called ahead to let us know about it.  Once they arrived, they got right to work, and did a fantastic job of setting up and placing the new big screen tv in the best location on the wall.  They cleaned up nicely after themselves, and spent quite a bit of time helping me to get to know the ins and outs of the new system. 

They had come for an engineering survey the week prior, and gave a prompt and reasonable estimate of costs to be incurred.  They helped pick the right TV and sound system for our living room, and were very cost  conscious in providing the various options.  Even though we had not initially planed on doing anything in the office until a later date, they gave me an exact estimate when I inquired about it after they were done with the initial installation, and happened to have the right mounting apparatus already with them in their vehicle.

I would highly recommend them to others, and will use them again in the future for other home audiovisual and electronic services.
