"Simply put, Robs amazing. Years and years of HVAC experience ooze from this honest and caring guy. Did my install and then some for a more than fair price instead of what the other Angi pros wanted. He’s now my go to guy for any and all AC & Heating issues. Oh and he showed up exactly at the time he told me he would. Amazing"

"My thermostat stopped working and I thought that was all that needed replacement - but the tech tested it and found the drip drain was clogged which turned off the thermostat. He cleaned it out and I had him replace the thermostat anyway. He did a great job and cleaned up afterward. He showed up on time. He explained all work & quoted price before completion. All working great!"

"Terrific!! Derek can build anything. He's very professional and nice. He built a ramp to the second floor for my dog (that other contractors said couldn't be done!) . He's brilliant!!! He also installed the AC and mounted the giant TV on the wall. I highly recommend him."

"Service was great and pricing very competitive. Nick Knuth was very knowledgeable when he came to do an assessment of the work to be done, and answered all my questions I'm a very clear way. The techs worked pretty quickly and efficiently when installing the new unit. Deisy and Emma from the office always made sure that things were taken care of and went above and beyond with follow-ups and updates. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs this service."

"Called immediately and got the appointment the same day within a couple of hours of calling. Efficient, called ahead to let me know when they would be here, arrived early which was great. Explained all that needed repairing and found some equipment inside of furnace that was outdated and needed to be replaced for safety reasons. Very cost effective, efficient & nice! Would definitely use them again and recommend them!!"

"Being a nice guy and feeling ripped off by a contractor is two very different things. We chose Michael Howard based on his response time , being personable and reviews. He's a very nice guy but in the end felt ripped off. We found that our initial interactions was very pleasant. He couldn?t determine with his assistant or figure the problem of our central heating unit and then told us we needed to replace the entire electrical circuit board. Cost was $750. He replaced the board and it still didn't solve the issue of heating up. He then determined that it was the motor that was the issue. Additional cost to repair $400. What was frustrating was that after speaking with other reliable sources while the job was taking place I asked Michael Howard for the old circuit board. He claimed that I told him to discard it. Not true at all. It was a red flag when a contractor is making up a story and calling me a home owner a liar. Why would I tell a contractor to throw out any parts until the job was solved and completes ? That truly concerns me as a home owner. Why would a professional discard the old circuit board fir the entire heating system before the job was finished ? My neighbor who's a contractor wanted to review the old circuit board. Then a day later Michael Howard returned with parts for the motor. He insisted and needed a confirmation of payment before he would repair the motor. Wanted me to sign an agreement when I questioned his judgement and concern that he might have replaced a circuit board that was perfectly fine since he later discovered the motor issue. I went up into the attic and found the old board. I asked him to now try the old board that I found discarded in the attic ( same part he claimed was discarded ). He told me that once he put in the new board it would be impossible to return it to the supplier that he purchased it from. Even with several hours of purchasing it. I asked him to show me a receipt and that I would call the vender. He refused. Ok so he didn't want to show me the receipt. When I looked up the part on line it sells for $90. So his mark up is 600%. I understand the time and labor but it was not very long. He then told me he would not charge the $400 for the parts for the motor. Wow. Bottom line is that when we later replaced the old board to test it , it worked fine. The real issue was the motor. The fact that he didn't want to make the effort to return it to the supplier with 24 hours is because he wanted to make the money. Clearly. Willing to not charge for the motor parts doesn't make me feel any better. Just made me recognize how much I was being ripped off. . And doesn't give the confidence to ever use this contractor again or recommend him regardless of all the terrific reviews."

"We needed a new front door installed and Mr. Handyman was the company to do it! They picked up the door from the place we bought it from, got it to our house, primed it, installed the hardware (including the smart lock), and hung it perfectly! We couldn't be happier! We will definitely be using Mr. Handyman again!"
