"We were impressed with Jason’s presentation of the Mitsubishi system, and we really appreciated learning about the HERO program from him. We got a good estimate, ate for the work but were planning to do our roof repair first with adding solar and thought we would do this job after. Things worked out with that Jason got our work scheduled and done BEFORE the roof/solar which worked out because in Sept/Oct we still had some hot days, Thie crew was professional and extremely hard working, and poor guys, in hot weather, sweating in our attic/crawl space. Which they left with improvements! The system was up and running (2 downstairs units, 4 upstairs) in 6 working days. After a week we did have a problem, nothing worked and they came out promptly to troubleshoot, ordered new circuit board and installed as soon as it arrived. Been running fine since then, and this is also heating so I am looking forward to heating with solar instead of gas."
Using the sewer camera to inspect the inside of a customer's drains
Camera inspection through a sewer vent on a customer's roof
Hydro jet uses water at 4,000psi to clean the inside of the mainline drain which connects all the home's drains to the city's sewer system.
Using a snake we can go through the cleanouts on the side of the house.
With the cleanouts snaked, and the blockage located, we can send the hydro jet through the sewer vent and flush out the blocked drain.

"Steven was very professional, polite, and did excellent work. I was frightened of being price gouged but that was definitely not the case. I trusted Steven within minutes and made him my future plumber. This is stress-relieving since my home is now 48 years old. He knew the type of plumbing installed at that time and informed me of what to watch in case it causes problems. He was also available for questions since the setting needed some adjustments. I would totally and with confidence suggest using Plumb Tech for your plumbing needs. Retired teacher Mary "

"<p><br /></p> <p>   The Plumber where punctual,  They saw the leak and cut a portion of the cooper pipe and placed it with new, they cut and kept a new valve and replaced it with one of their own saying it was useless once the cooper pipe was replaced.  I was quoted from the main office that they charge $120 an hr. but I was billed more than $150. the problem was fixed and looks professionally done, but there seems to some kind of difference between their plumbers and their office when it comes to work per hour amount. I was Billed $225 for an hour and a half of labor. according to their office quote per hour, I should have been billed about $180.</p> <br />"

"I put a call in to Dan @ Winder Plumbing when our tenants reported two stopped up toilets in our commercial building.  Dan said he should be able to fix it easily and he did.  I am not at the location where the work was done however tenants reported both toilets were working fine when he left. <br />"

"Did the job a week ago and they did excellent work. Showed up promptly, cleaned up very well and did not over charge. Maricio was excellent. I knew where the slab leak was from a specialist in "leak detection" but Maricio confirmed it and figured out how to tell if any other lines that ran in the slab would be effected by the reroute of the pipes (something the "expert" couldn't). He rerouted the hot water line rather then jackhammer the floors because the pipe was too deep and it was a short reroute from the water heater to the manifold in the wall (20-30'). While he was not cheap, it was about the same as an independent plumber and a few hundred less than a couple other companies who were trying to sell me a full house repipe. Of note, the previous plumbing company said I needed $16,240 worth of work because all the pipes in the house were failing (reviewed elsewhere). The Bill Howe guy was honest and said the pipes above ground that he could access did not appear to be failing, there was just some sloppy work an a previous repair, but he cut a few pieces out during the work and said those pipes looked fine. So $1,800 for a local reroute of the hot water line vs $8,000 - $16,000 for a whole house repipe? Also he offered a 3 year warrantee vs 90 days on labor for the other guys. Don't be fooled, they will say there is a 10 year, etc warrantee, but that is only for the materials which are pretty cheap, not the labor. A piece of advice, if you think you have a leak and are in a house go onto you tube and watch the videos on slab leak detection. Within 10 minutes you can tell by yourself if you have a leak, if it is on a hot water line or not and an idea of what can be done to detect its precise location. Also hire your own leak detection service, not someone the plumber wants to bring in."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Pauma Valley, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
