"Albert came to do our estimate last summer.  He was very knowledgeable and pleasant.  He was helpful in determining the best products for outdoor as well as the indoor projects that needed to be completed (deck, inside stairs, etc).  We decided to proceed a few weeks ago however Albert was not available (going out of town) which initially was concerning to my husband.  Albert assured me at his initial estimate that his crew was meticulous so I implored my husband to proceed with the project instead of delaying.  We are so happy that we did!  Elian came with the rest of the crew and worked tirelessly to smooth the walls, prime and paint.  They were able to repair a door which had been damaged from the elements making it look new and saving us lots of expense if it had to be replaced.  The weather would not cooperate and started raining from day one but the crew did their best in the elements without sacrificing the quality that Albert promised.  The project ended up going over the 2 days estimated (because of the weather) but we are very satisfied with the work that was done and plan on having Elian and the crew back to work on the outside deck and inside stairs this spring or summer!

"I called Russ to give me an estimate on built in bookshelves (est was $3000) and doors and shelf for an already existing shelf. Russ came on time when I made the 1st appt. We were having other work done to our house so I was trying to figure out what we were going to have done this year. I called Russ back 4 months later and he came back out to remeasure. He missed the 1st appt to remeasure but when I called back he came out. I was unsure about the built in shelves but wanted to do the have the doors and shelf made which he said would not be a problem. This was on a Tues. He said he would have it done by the end of the week so I called on Monday when I had not heard from him. This started at the end of May. He had another project but would put the doors in the truck and stop by when he had a few minutes. The next time I called he still need to paint the doors but it was too humid. Then after calling weekly for 6 weeks I asked if I need to find someone else to do it and he said his truck and all of his tools were stolen???? I provide this information b/c I got the run around."

This alone is better than past Angie's deals where we waited a long time for contact and longer for service. He called again when he was on his way. The inspection was thorough and efficient. "I've worked with Nate in the past and when we moved to our new house, he was my first call. Over the summer, he pulled up carpet, painted and put hardwood floors down in two rooms. More recently, he figured out a way to build out the wall and install a french door on a previously open loft. He also figured out a way to remove a threshold in a door that was way too high and a tripping hazard. Nate is always punctual, professional, does impeccable work and always leaves the job site clean. From the initial quote to completion, he is the consummate professional. "Andre is a terric handyman and carpenter. He is professional, diligent, timely, and pays attention to detail. He has done several projects for us including building shelving units in a work shed, repairing a leaking shower, fixing huge holes in our ceiling and patching cracks to make the drywall seamless and brand new looking. He has rebuilt built-ins around a fireplace and cut granite to fit the shelving. He can do pretty much anything you ask him to. I highly recommend him for drywall repair, carpentry, cabinetry, and granite work."
