"Dan and his Dylan were phenomenal. I contacted Dan a few weeks ago when I noticed the blower fan on one outdoor AC unit was not working. Dan was booked out for a few weeks for regular maintenance service calls (and now I can I understand why he's in high demand). I did not need urgent service since the weather was fair and I had another AC unit to hold us over. Dan was able to special order a new motor ahead of our appointment and bring it with him. Besides being very friendly, and of course, punctual and professional, he was very easy to work with when discussing overall HVAC concerns in my home that we recently moved into. After repairing the fan motor for a great price, they also did an above-and-beyond cleaning+fixups on the indoor and outdoor units. Needless to say, I'm VERY happy with their service and will have them back in the fall for winter readiness and potentially to rework some ducts (my idea, not his)....and I hope for many years to come! "Andrew Herring was great, he was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He took time to describe the troubleshooting and repair, explaining in layman terms so I could understand the what and whys of what needed repaired. He also makes a point of keeping the most common parts on hand, like the thermal coupler. He thoroughly inspected the unit and surroundings and stayed to ensure the unit was working to expectation. Andrew also gave quotes, with descriptions, and took the time to show me the reasoning for the preventative maintenance that he was advising, informative but not pushy or overbearing, and as a woman, who has been taken advantage of by other service providers, it was refreshing to find honesty, respect and the willingness for explanation. Grateful to have encountered Herring's, I will definitely be recommending Herring's to friends. Quality Service!"

"They came highly recommended to us from Mark at Ace Appliance repairs. I placed a call to set up a date for them to come out. They called me back right away and scheduled me asap. Confirmed the night before via call, voicemail and text message. Arrived earlier than expected and started the job right away. They showed and explained to me what was wrong from beginning to end of job. They even took the time to explain to me what to notice next time if i'm having the same issue. "We had a new high efficiency water heater installed to replace an aging system. Can't even begin to express how impressed we were with both the technician and the amazing work that was done. "Mike Zam and his worker Albert cleaned all my air ducts, registers, and dryer vent. I paid $530 for the first 15 ducts and vents. After that I paid $20 per additional duct and vent. I paid $100 for the dryer vent cleaning for a total of $740. While the work was being completed Mr. Zam made a strong sales pitch for another $1400 to be paid for an Air Scrubbers Plus--a whole house air purifier which is attached to the furnace. He also strongly advised me to pay another $310 to have the coil blades in my furnace cleaned. (I got him down to $270) While he was taking the bottom part of my Lennox furnace apart he received a phone call. He then told me he had to leave and than another service man would call me the next day to do the job. As a result, I had time to call my HVAC service man to discuss these high price additions. He informed me that neither was needed. I checked online regarding the Air Scubbers Plus and found out that the whole- house air purifier's effectiveness greatly diminishes the farther away a room is from the unit. After the men (about 2 1/2 hrs or so) I discovered a lower register hanging off the wall in my living room. In my bedroom the upper and lower registers were reinstalled backwards, making it impossible to slide the lever controlling the louvers. To move the lever necessitated a hammer and a screwdriver. My recommendation to anyone considering air duct cleaning is to watch the process closely. I did not with Eco Friendly Services. And I regret it."

"I called several different vendors to get pricing estimates on replacing my HVAC system.  I shopped for a high efficiency unit for the 2 stage variable heating unit and replacement of our 6 ton AC unit which was all rated at around 9 SEER from the 1990s.  Our air conditioning went out in early August and I didn't want to rush and sign up with the first. 
I first interviewed Horizon and they were the most expensive starting around $15K.  The guy was very nice and then asked what my price was to replace the entire unit. I felt that was unfair and told him I needed to interview several others before making a decision and I am glad I did that.  Green Electric was around $13K for a comparably same unit. Next was Climac for a Trane Unit and they were just under $10K. Christian Plumbing didnt seem that I needed the high efficiency and was going to do the regular for around $10.5K and no real written estimate as I had to take a picture of what he wrote down (dissappointing). Lastly was Omni Heating & Cooling, which I called on a whim since I wasn't sure if Climac was going to come out because of a scheduling issue.  Karis was great and walked thru all the options and prices.  I received a very nice Bryant system for a very reasonable cost.  My home cools very quickly again and I am very satisfied with the work they did. I did have to replace some sheetrock in the basement ceiling, but well worth the cost savings compated with the other vendors.

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."
