Patrick came and had to be a sleuth to try to determine the cause of the missing hot water. The tank was too small and not functioning, but the real problem was a crossed pipe somewhere in my 1890 house. He found the pipe location in the basement and put in a shut off valve, which gave most of the house hot water. He also put in a high quality 50 gallon tank, and repaired the leaking lead main. To completely fix the hot water, it will mean opening walls, so we left a small 1/2 bath sink and attic sink to be fixed at a later time (or not....).. This was all around Easter, but he put in long days to get it all done."

They completely redid the venting of the furnace and hot water heater, moved the electrical and water lines in a more efficient route, and built a pad for the air conditioner complete with pea gravel  and substantial pad.  In my 35 plus years of ownership I have never been so happy with a contractor.
