"We had an older television built into a wall of shelves in the living room.  When we replaced the television with a new thin model the shelving arrangement no longer worked the way we wanted.  I contacted Craftsman Direct (CD) and they had a estimate within $10 of the best estimate and I was more confident that they could do what was needed.  Although CD didn't show up when originally scheduled they called beforehand and we were able to reschedule.  They did show up on time and stayed with the project until it was completed to our satisfaction late on the evening the day before Thanksgiving.  It was not clear at the beginning exactly what would be required and although it required a bit more in materials than had been estimated, CD did not charge us for the overage.  In the end they moved two shelf units, relocated an electrical and cable outlet, finished the newly opened space and painted it flat black to match the rest of the shelves.  We were very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend Craftsman Direct and call on them again for another project.

Jim was quick to respond to my initial request for a quote to install this Murphy door. He was prompt to answer questions and schedule a date to complete the work. He not only showed up on time, he was meticulous in his work, and left the kitchen tidy when he was done. We now have a cool place to put our cookbooks and decorative plates. I can?t wait for him to come back and do some other fun projects for us! If you have a project you need done, small or large, I cannot recommend him enough. He has years of experience in building and construction and a great eye for design."
