We specialize in building and renovating decks and porches, kitchens and baths, gazebos and pergolas. We also do rough framing for houses and additions, sheds and barns, and finished basements. In addition, we do light commercial construction. With 45 years in business, our family owned and operated company has the experience and knowledge to complete the most complicated projects. We strive to satisfy all of our customers and will go the extra mile to make sure you're completely happy with the finished product.

He was very easy to work with, got back to us in a timely manner with any questions or concerns, and worked within our budget. We also were extremely impressed that he himself actually did a lot of the work and was on sight most of the time with his team to oversee things! Our Trex deck could not have turned out more beautiful and we would highly recommend John for any job you need done!"

We are a design build company that can take you through every step of your project with the utmost professionalism and detail. We always encourage communication as we schedule weekly meetings throughout your project. We do this so the project stays on track and all details are given our full attention.
"I am so happy that we found Krain Construction. Brian and his crew really brought our vision to life. We wanted to build 2 stories on top of an already existing foundation that only had a roof on it. We had a hard time finding someone to do it but Brian had no hesitation. He drew up a floor plan and we loved it. His crew built the new frame for our house, did the siding, doors, windows, decks, gutters, hvac. My husband and I are going to do the interior part of the house. If we had any issues we could easily text Brian and he would resolve them quickly. If we had any last minute changes, he would work with us. Very personable and professional. If we ever needed anything else done I would use them again and I would recommend to anyone needing a remodel. I will post some pictures of how our house started and how it is now that they’re done."

"Original date to start job was 11/13/24. 11/20/24 I texted and asked what happened. He said he would start the job on Monday, 12/2/24. 12/9/24 got an email that he would be coming the next day, 12/10/24. Then, he received an email that it was too cold to install rails, and he would come on 12/24/24. Rails were installed, and Dominic stressed he needed to receive the balance of the invoice. I asked him when he would remove the boulder. He had to get back to me. 2/21/25 Dominic said he would come the first week in March 2025 to remove the boulder. I contacted Dominic again via text on 4/1/25, got a message on 4/2/25 that Dominic would come next week to remove the boulder. Got a message 4/10/25 that Dominic would come the following week to remove. At some point after this, when it was not done, I spoke with Dominic, and he proceeded to talk over me and said he was not going to remove the boulder."

"It is on the verge of 2026 and I am still finding examples of the terrible work we received from PRC back in 2019! I have constant reminders of the regret that I have from hiring this company. The latest is an exposed outlet that we were never told about and that I recently discovered because I had to remove a cabinet drawer. Please see the the attached photo and I recommend reading my entire review. Proceed with caution, if you decide to use PRC. I will never understand why they could not provide us the same level of quality that others mentioned in their reviews. Poor work is one thing, but this is a safety issue, and I am grateful that we have not had a fire. I will be consulting with an attorney to determine if any action is possible. I wasn't planning on writing a review about our experience with PRC, but after finding more examples of poor workmanship on a project that was supposed be completed 10 months ago, I've changed my mind.
