"You couldn't ask for a better professional.  During Mick's site visit, he quickly and correctly assessed a downspout disconnected from its buried drain line, as well as site grading that sloped toward the house/basement.  Ponding pressure had caused heavy rains to seep through cracks in the concrete block mortar joints and into our furnace room in the basement.
 
Mick explained the problem clearly, what he could do, and also suggested that we first try to fix the problem ourselves (he even explained how), with the understanding that if it didn't work, we hadn't wasted much money.  We took Mick's advice and dug out the area, sealed the concrete block and reconnected the downspout.  In the months following, we haven't seen a drop of water get through.

"FIRST: Hope sent out a nice man named MATT to plumb for a basement half bath. He was very good. Before leaving, he gave us a coupon that said $25 off ANY PLUMBING SERVICE. SECOND: On a house we own one block south, water was coming up through the basement drain. We had already had the main drain cleaned a week or so before, so we didn't think that would solve the problem as there was still water coming up. Hope sent out Kevin. Very nice, polite, prompt, but he basically did what the first drain cleaner had done, and that didn't fix the problem. HE SAID he didn't have the small snake on the truck to do the lines from the kitchen and laundry room. Why would HOPE send out someone who didn't have the proper equipment on the truck? Nothing was fixed at this point. THIRD: Kevin called the office and they said they wouldn't take the coupon that was given to us by Matt."

"Denny's did a great job with attention to detail.  They installed a perimeter drain, removed insulation, drilled holes in block for drainage, installed and plumbed the sump pump, and trenched a drain out to the back yard.   Workers were very pleasant to deal with and Mike made sure everything was right including a return visit.  They did a good job of picking up debris and left the house/space in better condition than before they arrived.  The thorough job was greatly appreciated."

"Excellent. This experience was the best I have had hiring outside help. After it was installed, I had some concerns and asked Aaron to come by. He came over on a Friday evening and to my surprise, agreed and quickly went above and beyond to remedy the situation. He was understanding and agreed with my concerns. Later I was worried about a sound I was hearing coming from the sump pump. He came up on a Sunday and turned out it was my old pump (not the new one they had installed) that was making the noise. He removed it and clearly explained why it was making the noise. The perimeter drain, pump, and dry well that they installed have all worked great since the installation, which was nearly 9 months ago now. It was very clear making sure a job was completed well and with integrity was important to him. It was comforting to know I was working with a company who valued customer service and doing a job well. Their prices were more reasonable than the 3 other companies I had estimates from. "This is the closest category I could find for what I had done and know that they do this type of work. I hired this company to install a french drain in the back of my yard. There is a hill behind me and the grade from the house made the water collect in a swamp with nowhere to go. They did a great job of trenching out the entire width of that area, added perforated pipe with a filter cloth and gravel, then replacing the topsoil. They put a well with a sump pump at the end and tubing to pump the water out to the front of the house so it would go into the drainage system. Mike Jr., Brandon Powers, Eric Lawhon and Mike Houtchins were the team of workers and did a great job cleaning up afterwards also. It was a pretty large project but it only took them two days to complete. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend them."
