"Our technician, Marco Prieto was excellent. He arrived within the house after I called Reddi Plumbing and immediately assessed the situation and started work. He was efficient and also shown concerned for our situation. He worked until around 9pm getting the water pipe repaired and we so appreciated his work. I have not used Reddi Plumbing before, but I will now use them for all my plumbing needs."

"The three men repaired the leak.  I have not had to have similar work done before, so I don't know how to evaluate the overall quality of the work.  The water leak was solved.  However, there were several things that I did not like about how the workman did the work.  I guess they thought they had me at a weak point, because they did a hard sell to get me to buy a premium plumbing inspection package that they claimed would qualify me for lower price on parts (I do not know whether they did in fact give me the lower price that they promised because the invoice was difficult to read.  To do the bypass of the broken pipe, the workmen had to cut four holes in the drywall.  The holes they cut seemed rougher (and thus more difficult and costly for me to get repaired) than would have been necessary.  One hole needed to be cut in the drywall behind my almost new water heater.  They pressured me into buying a new water heater, saying that it would cost the same to install a new water heater as to putting the existing water heater back after completing the bypass.  I don't think that was actually true.  During the two days that the men were working to bypass the broken pipe, a nice compact pump that I had to inflate my auto tires disappeared from the counter top where I had it stored near my back door.  Also, to test that the bypass had solved the leak, one of the men poured water from a bottle he had been drinking out of into my water line.  That was an unsanitary and I felt disrespectful act.

"I had originally purchased a "Big Deal" for a water heater flush and plumbing inspection through Angie's List.  Although the office staff was always friendly, there were major problems scheduling the service, including having the technician not show up during the allotted service window .  Having waited several hours, I double checked that I was on the list and was told that I would be the next appointment.  When the window I was given ended, another hour or so later, and the window had closed and I still hadn't heard from the contractor I called again and was told that I was still next on the list, but they had no idea when the contractor would actually come.  They were unable to even estimate whether it would be another hour or more and was told only sometime before 6.  I decided I could no longer wait and rescheduled.  On morning I had rescheduled for, I received a phone call telling me that they had a lot of appointments scheduled and asked if I would be willing to reschedule again as they were unsure when the technician would get to me.  I mentioned that this was already a rescheduled appointment, which the person calling did not seem to have any record of.
Finally, the technician arrived and was very friendly and professional.  After looking at my water heater he recommended against the service, because of the age of the unit.  He was concerned that cleaning the valve would cause leaking or other damage.  Although he could not perform the water heater flush, he looked at plumbing overall in the house.  He recommended re-plumbing the entire house for both gas and water.    He suggested that the older plumbing was the cause for a problem I mentioned that I was having with my washing machine.  (I have since had the washing machine looked at and learned it had a broken part, unrelated to the plumbing.)  He also stated that he was concerned that the gas lines were corroded.

The technician said he would have to come back to provide a proper estimate and I scheduled an additional appointment. Once again they were late for the service window.  He did not really look at anything to perform the estimate except to remind himself which house he was in.  He then called his manager and had to wait for a response to get the numbers for the estimate.  This took an inexplicable amount of time.
I inquired into converting my stove to gas, if we were going to change the gas lines anyways.  After he walked outside to look at the roof, which was recently repaired by a roofer, he suggested that my roof might need to be repaired because he thought it looked like it was though it was sagging.

I think the technician who came to may house was a little overly zealous when it came to recommending replacement of things.  My original home inspection and plumbing assessment revealed no problems with the gas or water lines, but I am in the process of getting a third-opinion just to be safe.  I did not get the impression that the technician who came was trying to take advantage of me or was at all dishonest, but I think he was overly aggressive in his recommendations.  I got the impression that he was a little experienced, and so perhaps he was simply erring on of the side of caution.

"

Cleaned out a sink in a 50 year old house.  Checked with office on cost of changing out the faucet (which was reasonable) and had replace the u-pipe or trap because it was in poor condition.

The plumber was willing to do an extra job and the office was very accommodating,

The plumbing in an older house can be tricky to work on; this plumber understood the problems and was careful with the old pipes!

"Everything went well. 1.5 hours onsite, everything works great afterwards.
The provider did not charge extra labor for the additional drain piping work or the other sink strainer.
The whole thing was within the cost range from the stated cost on their website, which is nice for simpler jobs like this.
No complaints, everything is working well, no surprise costs.

FAQs for gas piping projects in Red Rock, AZ

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
