"Came by and fixed quickly. Outside job and not-so-great weather. Repair was efficient and cost was what expected. Actually fixed some more minor problems I was having as well. Would recommend to anyone in Rock Hill Area. "

"Our AC unit went out on July 2nd. We called several companies that told us they wouldn't be able to look at our unit until the following week. Keller's owner Glenn came out that evening and determined that the compressor was done. Within a few hours Keller provided several options. We made the decision to replace the unit and Keller had a crew onsite at 8am on July 4th. We were thrilled they were able to order a unit and have a crew servicing clients on the 4th! This is a top notch family owned and run company and I strongly recommend them. Thank you Kelly and Glenn! Trey Sheehan"

"CMA came out to install two air conditioner units in my home in 2019. About a month ago, I the downstairs unit stopped working. I called them and they came out and told me to change the filters. Of course, that did not work. I called them back and told them that was not the issue, and they gave me a hard time about coming back. When they came back the second time, they found that the fan in the downstairs unit had stopped working. The parts are under warranty, and I paid roughly $400 for labor. Yesterday I called them because my upstairs unit was not working. The woman in the office said that they were booked out 3 weeks. I told her that since I had spent over $10K with them for the units in 2019, I think they need to come back and fix the issue. The woman then stated that the technicians did not want to come back. I nor my husband were rude to any technicians when they came to work on my units. However, my husband is black and I am white, so maybe the problem is that the family owned company are a bunch of racist. I would not use this company unless you enjoy throwing money away and horrible customer service for spending your money."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Rock Hill, SC

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
