"One day not long ago, my wife noticed that there was a wet spot on the ceiling.  One particular, isolated spot, but the water stain spread out from that spot.  The ceiling drywall had been soaked to the point that just touching it resulted in poking my finger through.  And sure enough, a drip came down from that exact spot.  Just that spot.  We couldn't see what exactly was dripping the water, but knew it had to be a pipe of some sort.
The next day, I called Greg.  We have hired Greg two other times during the past few months, and his work has been great.  So, his was the first name that came to mind for this.  I left a message, and Greg called me back right away (he always does ---- communication is never an issue with Greg). We arranged a time in the late afternoon for Greg to come by to take a look.  Greg arrived as scheduled.  He cut away a small section of ceiling --- just enough to identify that, yes, there was indeed a pipe that leaking at the elbow bend.
The drip was regular, but not steady or a strong flow.  So we arranged for Greg to return the next evening to start the actual work. 
Greg arrived on time with the tools/supplies he needed and set to work.  He cut away a bit more drywall, but did not over cut.  He cut away the leaking section of pipe, fabricated a new section, and then soldered in the replacement section.  Greg then sized a piece of replacement ceiling drywall and patched it into the ceiling.  Over the next couple of days, Greg returned to "mud" the patch, or sand down what he had mudded the day before.  After several applications and sanding, the spot hardly looks as if there had ever been a hole at all.  Just needs a coat of paint to be completely "gone."
Greg is first rate.  Reliable.  Accessible.  Good communication.  Friendly.  Knows what he is doing.  And reasonable rates.
When something "needs fixing" on our home, our first call will be to Smiley Painting / Greg."
