"Premier Entry Systems was quick to respond to my request for an initial quote for the work.  I was impressed by their reviews on Angie's List and they exceeded my expectations.  The gentlemen who installed the garage openers and gate opener were professional and helped us to understand how to operate both.  When the solar panel failed to generate enough power to operate the gate and the clickers failed (yes we tried to reset), they were quick to fix the situation.  I was truly impressed with their level of professionalism and courtesy.  I would not hesitate to use them in future and would highly recommend them.

"Excellent! I had an emergency; needed the door replaced as fast as possible. Adi completed the work the day after I called. He was professional and thorough, working past 5 on a Saturday. The wood under the threshold was completely rotted. Adi made 3 trips to the local hardware store to get the right materials to replace everything that needed replacing. No shortcuts. When I noticed some gapping the next day, he came right back and made adjustments. The door is seated securely and looks great. Overall, quick, gracious, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommend."

"One of the cables on the side of our garage door came undone and the top panel of the door had two small cracks in the middle where the door was bent slightly. The second panel was also slightly bent in the middle. I had to unhook the other side cable in order to lower the door down until we could get a repair man out. Glen Johnson came out to give me an estimate on a garage door repair. I called in the morning and he told me I was sixth on his list and that he would call me before he came. He came the same day in the early afternoon. Glenn was very friendly and personable. He verbally gave me three different price options for my repair. $185 to put it back together and re balance the door. This option only came with a 90 day warranty. $279 to replace the top panel and add a top brace (this wasn't really an option because we could not tell whom the original manufacturer of the door was). The third and final option was $600 to $650 for an entirely new door. I ended up calling another company for a second estimate. That second company ended up repairing the door by adding brace bars to the two existing top panels, repositioning the opener and adjusting the opener speed. They also did a full service of the door. That repair cost me $342.90 with a $20 off coupon. 9/25/2010 Update After my original report on Angie's List 9/6/2010, Mr Johnson called me on my cell phone and interrogated me about why I gave him a B grade as oppose to an A. In his original verbal estimate to me he never mentioned that he would do what ever it took to fix the door for $185. My recollection was his $185 option only had a 90 warranty and it did not include adding additional parts. The only time brace bars were mention was in the second option and that didn't sound like a real option to me because we didn't know who the manufacture of the door was. Unfortunately, I believe there was mis - communication between us. I would have loved to have had my garage door put back together, serviced, rebalanced, two brace bars installed on my garage door panels and my opener repositioned and adjusted for $185. I think we have both learned something from this experience. Blessings to Mr Johnson"

FAQs for garage door opener installation and replacement projects in Rosston, TX

A chain-drive opener costs less, but it’s louder and needs more upkeep. If your budget allows, a belt-drive model is often the smarter long-term buy, especially for an attached garage with a bedroom above where noise matters. The decision between a chain or belt opener comes down to your budget and needs, and your garage door opener installer can help you choose an option that best suits you.

Choosing the right horsepower for your garage door opener is crucial for safe and efficient performance. Your garage door’s design and material determine the required horsepower. A single-car garage demands a half horsepower rating, while a two-car garage requires a rating between three-fourths and 1.25 horsepower. Selecting the proper power level ensures optimum performance and durability over the life of the opener.

Plan on a quick garage door tune-up once or twice a year. Tighten the chain or belt, lubricate moving parts, test the safety sensors, and swap out weak batteries in the remotes or backup unit. A few dollars in lubricant and 30 minutes of work can fend off costly repairs, keep the door running smoothly, and help the opener hit its full life expectancy.
