"Very prompt response to request for quote. Quote was reasonable. Started work immediately by hand digging a trench from the street to the house. Approximately 75 ft under a sidewalk and around sprinkler system. Took some work but there was damage to anything. Replaced line, got city approval, covered trench. All in all a great job. Very pleased with their service. <br />"

"Bryan, our Technician, arrived early for 8am appointment and diagnosed the problem quickly. He also noted that leaky water heater was under warranty - which I thought meant delays and work on my part to get credit - boy was I wrong - the Watermark team took care of ALL OF THAT! I paid for Watermark to pick up the new water heater - much cheaper than buying whole new one. Bryan also installed two pans plus drain pipe, since none existed. This was a big job - he did have someone come help him - he finished up after lunch - GREAT JOB by entire team - such a relief!"

"The plumber arrived at my home at 2:20 pm and completed the work and went out to his van at 3:20 pm. He was in his van for 15 minutes before returning to my house at 3:35 pm and presenting me a bill showing $47.50 for a service call, $166.25 for 1.75 hours of labor and $47.34 for parts for a total of $265.00. I asked him to explain the charges and he said that the $47.50 is for the time he took to get to my house. He said the hourly charge includes the time he did the work, the time he took to buy my parts (20 minutes), the time he took to complete my bill and the time he figures it will take for me to pay him and for him to get back in his truck to leave. He said if I disagree with this I should call his office since he is only the messenger.  I  did call his office and the bill was reduced. The plumber was not happy about this and showed it in his attitude. <br /> <br />       The actual work in my home took one hour and the time to buy the parts was 20 minutes for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. But my bill was charging me for 1 hour and 45 minutes at the rate of $95.00 per hour. The extra 25 minutes charge was for the plumber to prepare the bill, present it to me, and get paid. I strongly object to this much of a charge for this part of my plumbing service.  <br /> <br />         I do not know if I will use this plumbing company again.  I do not like paying for a plumber's time once he finishes the job. Charging  for fifteen minutes to complete the bill and then charging for the time the plumber estimates that it will take to present the bill, get paid, and return to his van  is not acceptable to me. I am sorry this happened since I enjoyed doing business with this company."

"My bathtub plumbing fixtures and pipes going to the tub were installed in 1946 and finally gave out and were leaking hot water. This caused my hot water heater to run almost continuously and caused some mold in the wall near the hot water handle. Billy and Ronnie arrived right at the time promised. They discussed with me the problem and what was needed to fix it. I also decided that since we were replacing the fixture I would have them install a shower head. They got right to it. They replaced the fixtures. Took out and replaced the bad plumbing that was causing the problem. They also installed the shower unit (1st time we had one in the house). They completely cleaned up the mess before they left. They were extremely courteous, professional and didn't mind answering all of the questions we had. They made sure I understood everything before they started and then showed me the work afterwards as well. I am highly satisfied with the the work that was done. I will definitely request their services again should the need arise and will refer them to others. Thank you for everything. <br />"

"December of 2010 RP Plumbing had replaced the majority of my sewer line, just up to the sidewalk.  They did a great job then, with quick and quality work, including coming back to readjust a pipe that had come loose when the ground shifted.  I was under the impression that the City of North Richland Hills would be responsible for the sewer line under the sidewalk, and up to the curb.  But, that was not the case, and I once again called on RP Plumbing to replace the remainder of the line, since it was getting clogged by tree roots.  Shawn scheduled the work to be done within 2 weeks of my call.  I didn't have to be at the house for the work to be completed.  The ground was dug, pipe replaced, inspected by City, and filled in within 2 days.  RP Plumbing's rates are reasonable and their service is excellent.  I would certainly use them again for plumbing issues. <br />"

"We installed 2 tankless hot water heaters when we remodeled our house a few years ago. Unfortunately, the installer did not install isolation valves (required to be able to flush the heaters) and consequently we have not been able to clean the units on a regular basis as recommended. I finally got some time to look into rectifying this and got estimates from 3 highly rated companies on Angies List (estimates ranged in price from $800-1200 including the $100+ apiece valve set), one of which was from Tankless Heaters. When I contacted Steve Joyner, he gave me an estimate over the phone that not only was the lowest priced bid but also included flushing of both heaters, a messy job that typically costs $100+ per unit, requires special equipment, and takes about an hour to perform. Needless to say, I signed him right up and he personally came out 2 business days later and completed the job on schedule to my complete satisfaction. He was a real pleasure to work with and I learned a ton about tankless heaters that I didn't know in the process, which will come in very handy when build our next house. So happy we found Steve and Tankless Heaters! <br />"

"We had trouble with our vehicle, so we first took it to Firestone. They fixed our alternator and the service engine soon light came on. They recommended we complete a partial tune-up along with a few other maintenance items. Needless to say, the total bill, not including the alternator, was going to be over $900! A close friend recommended Honesty Automotive and we are thankful she did. Tom completed the necessary work needed on Saturday for only $387!!! <br /> We have used them a second time as well for our Toyota truck which he replaced the catalytic converter. <br /> We will definitely continue to bring our vehicles back to Honesty Automotive. Honesty Automotive is definitely a place that you can trust to send your wife, daughter, mom or grandparents. I have sent two sisters as well to him and they too were very pleased with his work. If you want great and honest service go to Honesty Automotive! You will be glad you did! <br />"

"Flow Plumbing does good work. Equally important, they are willing to work with you. Our main wastewater line needed to be replaced (this was obvious when they showed us on camera, and afterwards, when we saw the pipe). They honored the quote they provided even though we had to wait months to get the work done. When hiccups arose in the process, Flow was willing to work with me and the city inspector to come to a compromise that insured good work was done, AND that we could split costs. This was not the first time I've used Flow, and it won't be the last."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Rosston, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
