"The tech arrived on time and inspected my home for spots that rodents can enter from. They gave us some information on locking down our food and put down some poison traps and mentioned there was a cracked and rotted door jab at our basement entrance. After about 4 weeks there were some peculiar odors around the house but the mice were still present. I decided to have a look at the door jab they had mentioned and realized the bottom of the door itself was rotted too. I did a run to home depot and replaced the door with a prehung unit. Within a day the amount of mice present dropped and a month later I felt there were no detectable rodents in the home.
