Within a day, Trend Mechanics looked for new Unit, bought it, installed, and filed extended warranty for up to 10 years with the manufacturer. Parts and labors were also guaranteed up to 1 year. We're happy with the price and the services performed at our home. We would use them again next time. Thanks."

"I received a call back quite promptly from my email to schedule a time to do the cleaning. On the appointed date, the team (two men) arrived promptly and got right to work. We have an unusually steep driveway, which turned out to be a problem for them, because the machine they use to force air through the ducts is actually fairly large and heavy. Usually, they can simply roll the truck right into a client's driveway, unload the machine near the house and begin work. But with our house, they couldn't really get their large truck up our driveway, which meant they would have to push the machine up the driveway by hand. That may not sound too bad, but it's a fairly heavy and cumbersome machine. I'll put it this way: it was definitely extra effort for them to do our house.

The entire process took a couple of hours or more, as they were doing both our upstairs and downstairs systems, but they were very professional and thorough. I didn't find any grates loose or missing or with the screws not firmly replaced when they were finished. In addition, one of the men had previously done standard HVAC work, and while working on our downstairs  system, noticed that the box housing holding our air filter was loose and allowing basement air into the filter (instead of just air from the air returns). He alerted me to this problem, and now we have a chance to fix it before the real summer heat comes crashing down on us.

"I pick this provider because he is the one of total two "super service award" winners when I searched on angie's list webpage, though his review is much worse than average. I thought it maybe because of bad communication. Now I seriously doubt how or by what standards angie's list gives out "super service award" to a provider. I regret not using the other super service award provider, though the cost is a lot higher, at least, I believe they are reliable and trustworthy.

"Electrician showed up on time (actually early).  I needed my outdoor low voltage lights adjusted, some relamped and one light repaired. Electrician did not adjust any of the lights (one was laying on the ground) and one needed a splice repair.  He refused to do the splice repair, saying he couldn't (he wasn't willing to). He was there less than thirty minutes and was in a huge hurry to get to his next appointment.  I repaired the light by splicing the wires in about 30 minutes and I'm not an electrician.  I realize $100 is not much for an electrician service call, but when you expect and purchase two hours of service, it should be provided if needed.

"Our tech arrived shortly after getting home from work. He was ontime and prompted. He diagnosed our issue and proceeded with the repair. The tech was from Sears Repair hired by our home warranty service [*** Link removed ***] and kudos to them for doing so! We paid $85 for the service call, but we also got quite a bit of additional info concerning our machine. Johnny was very, very informative."
