Much better grade than the cheap corrugated aluminum foil catch fire insert that you see people on youtube do s DIY, or other chimney "specialists" do on occasion."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "Bob Bourque discussed our heating options and also asked us if we had CO2 detectors in our house in case the furnace got worst. I received the written proposal within a couple of days. It was so refreshing dealing with Bourque after dealing with six different HVAC contractors which I received several bids ranging from $3,800 to $14,000. I did hire Bourque to install our new gas furnace and a humidifier, their price was fair and after doing my homework Bourque had good references and are very reputable in our town. I was very impressed with all the staff that was very professional and courtesy. They did such a nice job at my home I highly recommended Bourque for my mother's home which they will be installing a new gas furnace and new air conditioning system within the next few weeks. My advice to anyone needing a heating or cooling system do your homework, Be sure get at least three (3) bids with detailed written proposals and check references from the contactor's current customers. Also go online to check for reviews or complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Anglies lists and even Google the Contractors name and address, you will be surprised with what information you will find. "Rd.I had to pay an extra $15.00 because I had an extra air duct or intake vent. He discussed how often the ducts should be cleaned and offered another service that would help disinfect and keep dust mights down. The extra service also extended the length of time before I would need to have the vents cleaned again. I chose the extra service and will not have to have it done again until 8-10 years from now. My nephew who is 45 was not happy I was having the ducts cleaned but he was pleased with their work in the end. I had this done in my last house twice so I am not new to this. I was pleased with their work. They started immediately and finished about an hour and fifteen minutes later. I have house that is almost 2,000 sq. feet. The $230.00 includes the $89.00 I paid when I ordered it through Angie's List.
