"We had a different person who came out before them who was horrible and then I tried Crawlspace/Basement Waterproofing Solution because they were reasonably priced and they worked with me on scheduling their time so that they would be there when the electrician are there. They worked together with the electricians and were all done. They were wonderful. It was an all-day project but everybody worked together. Everybody showed up, everybody cooperated, and it was all done in one day with a big job. They were very good with the whole thing. The price was really good deal and all they have to do is seal from the outside to the inside. The biggest thing for us is that, they were here when everybody is here to do one thing. They are really good and we only had one problem but it was all filled up. This company gave exactly what we needed, showed up when they are supposed to, and did a great job. It was perfect. I would recommend right away to anybody before anybody else.  We were very impressed with them."

"I was given a window between 1pm and 2pm for an estimate.  The guy showed up almost an hour late.  After determining what was leaking he went to home depot to get the replacement part.  I still had not been given an estimate.  
He gets back and replaces the part maybe 45mins at home depot and 15 mins at my house, then has no idea what to charge me.  Here is where I realize I'm in trouble.  He waits about an hour to talk to his boss and see what the charge would be, so much for getting an estimate before hand.  He finally gets ahold of the guy then tells me its $185.  I asked him if that included the 10% angies list discount listed on angies list and he shrugs and says "uh, I think so", right.  
So basically I feel like a dope for not demanding an estimate before he booked it out to the store, but still that's a little ridiculous.  I won't be using McDonah again.
The work however was fine, he left it in better condition then it was.

"I hired the company to do a make ready [clean up & prep] on a single apartment in a building which I own in the  town where I live. I needed the property to be cleaned up so I could rent it again.  I have been a landlord for over 20 years & hadn't found a vacated property in such a mess in all my years. They did the complete interior clean-up which took about five hours. And, the complete prep of the property. they took out all the trash & junk, and cleaned up all debris left in the yard. They did such a great job with that I decided to use them for the yard maintenance also. They cleaned all my flowerbeds & got them ready for spring, placed mulch & trimmed the shrubs and flowering trees. On the inside they made everything look brand new! Cleaning the walls, painting, cleaned the carpets & stripped & polished the wood floors...making them look brand new. The appliances that stayed were cleaned inside & out. They even remembered to get all the light fixtures clean for me. Dusted all window seals & doorways. Shine mopped all they tile floors. To top it all off they even gave the bathrooms a fresh clean look by putting a new caulk seal around the tubs, sinks & shower...which gave the bathrooms a fresh face. All in all I found it to be a very stress free pleasant experience. And, I will definitely call on them for the next project because if they could do so well with a nightmare like that I'm sure the less difficult will be equally affordable and easily handled. "I went with a laminated shingle instead of the metal roof on this job just because of the difference in cost. The 2 guys that did my roof were on time and got the job done in a timely manor. They did me a very good job on my roof and I was and still am very happy with the roofing job. That said, I hired Better Way at a later date to finish up a siding job that I started and didn't have help to complete. The First crew that came out the helper was more interested in working than the so called lead man. Lead man was on the phone conducting personal business and leaving the job after only a couple hours of being here. He did this on numerous occasions. He failed to put the house wrap on the house. He also failed to anchor large peices of soffit on a 14' X 25' overhang properly. 2 weeks after the job was done large pieces of the soffit started coming loose and falling off the overhang of the house. I called Better Way and they came out with a new crew and fixed the problems that the first crew was not able to get done. The second crew of guys did a good job fixing the problems that the first crew left me. I am not sure the first crew that came out to do my siding is still employed with Better Way. I was told they were not."
