"Fred's came highly recommomended by friends, so I called to ask for service.  Explained that we had purchased a home, but the inspector had noted a small gas leak, we needed that fixed and wanted to have the furnace and air conditioner inspected.  My experience with the scheduler at Fred's was excellent, she was very friendly and helpful. 
The technician arrived on time, was very professional, wore covers on his shoes so he wouldn't drag mud/dirt in our house.  We explained the leak and the service we wanted.  He took great care of us, and explained each time he's completed a task, and let us know the condition of our units.  He was very friendly, and offered recommendations on the types of filters to by. I suffer from allergies, and he let me know that certain types of filter actually reduce airflow and make it harder for the unit to run.

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
